Hi thanks for the answer. Conversion from prepaid to postpaid (within same telco) can be completed immediately within the day?

QUOTE(darkbaby91 @ Jul 22 2015, 09:02 PM) Oh there, did you see the * that wrote after 2gb on the new plan? That is the deal. From 2am to 10am only. I will call u mobile for further explaination. like what fisherman10 said, the 2am to 10am clause is not indicated there. I believe the * is used to indicate that this promo is only available for a limited period(which is what the text below the table explains)EDIT: With the help of forumer: https://twitter.com/umobilesb/status/623781937195446272 This post has been edited by wcypierre: Jul 23 2015, 12:24 AM |

QUOTE(singgung @ Jul 23 2015, 12:11 PM) Sounds tempting. I just bought their prepaid sim card less than a month a go and have never subscribe to any data plan yet. From what's written in their website, existing user can only switch after 1st august. Actually now that I read more about it, may not be that worth it also. Mainly because the 'active period' is RM1 per day. So effectively you still need to pay them RM30 a month (last time RM30 will last 2 months) to keep the account active. If have to pay RM30 a month may as well I go for U28 and get 3GB..... |

Was looking for some clarifications here. This new sim means there is no longer double validity period? Seems like this plan requires number to remain activated to be able to use and i tot can use the previous double validity. Lol.If have to pay RM30 a month may as well I go for U28 and get 3GB..... |

I'm looking to port out from Celcom back to U Mobile (ugh, that First 38... what a mistake). If I'm in Kuala Lumpur, around Menara Celcom area, does anyone know what's the nearest place to do the MNP? I converted at Times Square last time and it was CROWDED as hell, I remember waiting like 2 hours just to port over. Also, can "Premium Dealers" and "U Sim Replacement Dealers" listen on the U Mobile site do porting?

i currently use UMI38 - mostly because I want the voice calls to all networks. So if i change the prepaid plan to FreeInternet4Life and continue to subscribe UMI38 - i will basically have 2GB data with 150mins of voice calls.. this correct?

Very disappointing for this new U Mobile power plan, I though the credit validity still is 2X. Previously Old old U Mobile plan, the credit validity is 3X and been forced to 2X credit validity.
Now become as usual in other telco RM1= 1 day. Totally focus for fight other telco prices, and value data quota. I guess still stick for old plan, a kinda of rubbish just only attract customers for data plan only, the rest for me feel OK as not much call n sms. |

Effective spend per month is RM20. |
