QUOTE(DarkNite @ Jun 30 2015, 11:42 AM) I've been using Umobile for the past few years and its very good all the time. Better than Celcom in terms of internet speed. Now uMobile is using Maxis. So its even better. HSDPA for uMobile is very fast in Penang. No LTE though. |

QUOTE(DarkNite @ Jun 30 2015, 12:22 PM) Penang as in the island and surrounding Georgetown area should not have any problems. Internet coverage might be bad. But sure got full bar E one. Don't worry. Coz UMobile = Maxis.I frequent the areas in question by zangief like balik pulau, sungai pinang, teluk bahang and Mainland Penang, then it is a different ball game. QUOTE(wirahijau @ Jun 30 2015, 01:18 PM) You can downgrade to u28 but free extra data and free talktime only available till 31 august ( 2 month only) after that u will back to usual u28 ( 1gb data + payu). This is what u mobile service ctr in kb said No la. U28 will be forever 3GB. The uMobile people don't want you to downgrade.u mobile call ctr said the same thing and only the new customer or mnp to u mobile will get this 3gb data and 50 minute talk permanently. Anyone can confirm this? |

QUOTE(wirahijau @ Jun 30 2015, 03:12 PM) So how to downgrade?, because i also p50 customer. Both service and call centre inform me like that lodge a complain through Phone, Facebook or TwitterDont want to change number or mnp QUOTE(NightFelix @ Jun 30 2015, 03:31 PM) Last time I was using U88, then I ask can I go back to U58, they said can't, but the lady offer me a solution, ask me go nearest DiGi do MNP Prepaid. So I do what she said, on second day, I go back to her after I have successfully MNP to DiGi Prepaid, and MNP back to Umobile U58. Weird... she just want to earn your MNP...hahaEither she is telling me lie that System can't "downgrade" that or she want commission when new people MNP to Umobile. Then, couple months later, U50 came out, I can straight convert from my U58 to U50 without MNP. Strange right? |

QUOTE(darkbaby91 @ Jul 22 2015, 03:01 PM) When I first saw the ad I felt so pleased that umi offers a vast amount of quota BUT I paid a visit to the nearest centre and I was informed that it is a 1+2 plan. 1gb for 24hours and another 2gb for 2am till 10am. I am now quite frustrated with it. Wrong info. Maybe the shop is very lauyah. Anyway, I port from prepaid with UMI28 to U28. I got 3.25GB whole day. Why do I have extra 250MB? Because I do autodebit. |

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Jul 23 2015, 04:27 PM) Very disappointing for this new U Mobile power plan, I though the credit validity still is 2X. Previously Old old U Mobile plan, the credit validity is 3X and been forced to 2X credit validity. Why not go for U28? Flat rate 5cent call only. Now become as usual in other telco RM1= 1 day. Totally focus for fight other telco prices, and value data quota. I guess still stick for old plan, a kinda of rubbish just only attract customers for data plan only, the rest for me feel OK as not much call n sms. |

I think UMobile Powerpack is better than U28.
I might port back to Prepaid. LOLOLOL Comparison:- 1 month pay :- RM30 U28 50 minutes voice = any number 300 sms 3GB 5cent/minutes Power pack + UMI30 450 minutes = only Umobile number 30 minutes = any number 1GB + 1.5GB = 2.5GB LTE 10cent/minutes This post has been edited by gogo2: Jul 24 2015, 05:29 PM |

QUOTE(ZhangFei @ Jul 24 2015, 05:08 PM) The u28 should be 20cent per minutes, this is what I saw in the brochure, I just signed up today. The power pack for 450min only can call to u mobile. Look at below. It said 5 cents per minute for U28.QUOTE(vostro78 @ Jul 24 2015, 05:23 PM) 3GB and 2.5GB not a huge different I think. But if 450Minutes only for umobile number, then U28 is better. Sorry for misinformation. |

QUOTE(JayChouYEE @ Jul 24 2015, 05:50 PM) it said 5 cents per minute, but it didn't said it is for U28. You go the U28 parts, there have 10cents/30seconds for all network. QUOTE(ZhangFei @ Jul 24 2015, 05:56 PM) Oh, so means U28 is worse than prepaid? That is bad. I thought postpaid is always cheaper than prepaid. Now postpaid is more expensive than prepaid. I don't see why we need U28. Prepaid, here I come. By the way, if I switch to U28 last week, can I switch back to prepaid this week? Is there any penalty?
