Penang as in the island and surrounding Georgetown area should not have any problems.

I frequent the areas in question by zangief like balik pulau, sungai pinang, teluk bahang and Mainland Penang, then it is a different ball game. 

You can downgrade to u28 but free extra data and free talktime only available till 31 august ( 2 month only) after that u will back to usual u28 ( 1gb data + payu). This is what u mobile service ctr in kb said

u mobile call ctr said the same thing and only the new customer or mnp to u mobile will get this 3gb data and 50 minute talk permanently.

Anyone can confirm this?

So how to downgrade?, because i also p50 customer. Both service and call centre inform me like that

Last time I was using U88, then I ask can I go back to U58, they said can't, but the lady offer me a solution, ask me go nearest DiGi do MNP Prepaid. So I do what she said, on second day, I go back to her after I have successfully MNP to DiGi Prepaid, and MNP back to Umobile U58.

Either she is telling me lie that System can't "downgrade" that or she want commission when new people MNP to Umobile.

Then, couple months later, U50 came out, I can straight convert from my U58 to U50 without MNP. Strange right?

Umobile prepaid to Umobile postpaid??

If convert from prepaid to postpaid? what happen to balance? can transfer?

When I first saw the ad I felt so pleased that umi offers a vast amount of quota BUT I paid a visit to the nearest centre and I was informed that it is a 1+2 plan.  1gb for 24hours and another 2gb for 2am till 10am. I am now quite frustrated with it.

Very disappointing for this new U Mobile power plan, I though the credit validity still is 2X. Previously Old old U Mobile plan, the credit validity is 3X and been forced to 2X credit validity.

Now become as usual in other telco RM1= 1 day.
Totally focus for fight other telco prices, and value data quota.

I guess still stick for old plan, a kinda of rubbish just only attract customers for data plan only, the rest for me feel OK as not much call n sms.

The u28 should be 20cent per minutes, this is what I saw in the brochure, I just signed up today. The power pack for 450min only can call to u mobile.

want more call/sms then prepaid.

but power pack can mix with umi?

it said 5 cents per minute,but it didn't said it is for U28.
You go the U28 parts,there have 10cents/30seconds for all network.

You may look at the details for u28, it stated 10cent per 30 second

Postpaid got FREE 100 SMS to UM and 200 SMS to other telco.

why change back?
