Anybody experiencing issue with widgets not working properly after rooting?
Such as stock digital clock on home screen not refreshing?
And also Whatsapp notification not working. I had to manually open Whatsapp to find out got new msg received few hours ago.

My S3 also first batch and with insane chip. Been using since day 1 till now no problems.

I heard that the problem is fixed if you're running 4.1.2 or later, so I guess even those with insane chips should be fine by now wink.gif

Rooting with CF auto root or framaroot wont touch any app or widgets.
Rooting by flashing a pre-rooted custom or kernel might effect some of the apps hmm.gif

I root with CF via Odin. thats all i did.
Didnt flashed with custom rom.

Tried unroot and root again still same.

Even if i turn off SuperSU it still the same. The widget wont refresh and Whatsapp no notification.

Hi, i'm using temasek v38 now. Just wonder issit when we got incoming call, we cannot use 3g/hspda? I noticed it dropped when has incoming call.

No resolution other than motherboard change, if you buy a new phone you can always request to check and find out if it is old stock. First batch is probably around Jun-Aug 2012 time, not likely you get first batch...
