finally! wohoo..

If you buy now for sure no more SDS insane chip inside. Mine was 1st bath from Aug last year. Died in March this year and Samsung replaced the entire phone board. Took them less than 24 hours no questions asked, even though my phone was rooted with CM10 installed. Service center also asked if I had problems with the USB cable and charger and if I do, bring for replacement. Apparently 1st batch USB cables and chargers were also defective but I don't know what the defect is as my charger and cable already eaten by my dog.

For those with insane chip but fortunately updated to 4.1.2 (or CM10 past this May, or CM10.1), its safe as one of the 4.1.2 updates includes a software workaround fix for the insane chip. Fortunate or unfortunate, I don't know, as the chip design flaw is still there, and apparently the software workaround fix does introduce some lagginess to the phone, according to xdadev forum user reports.

But if you buy now, and check that it was manufactured this year, you should be fine.

Edit: One more thing, the Snapdragon S4 LTE version is not affected at all, only the Exynos4 3G only version.

It DOESN'T turn on. What else is there to prove? Just go to service center and say phone won't turn on. Don't have to say anything about SDS or insane chip.

About taking a good pictures with Samsung S3, what is the general thumb rules for it?

Because the pictures that I took with S3 always look cacat. Don't know it is the phone problem or mine problem.

Care to give some suggestions and tips for me?

before send to SC, they sure will turn on your phone see whether can turn on or not =_=

1 solution. ..if u got insane chip and still have warranty..just make ur phone hardbrick then send it to ssc...they will replace ur motherboard 4 sure...

to make it hardbrick, flash any zip file in recovery, flash until half then take out battery
