The file is iso file if I'm not mistaken, you have to burn them into CD and boot via bios.

After shutting off C1E, C3 and C6 states.

I cant get above speed even after update firmware.. Maybe bcoz my ssd half full?

its hibernate function if not mistaken.. maybe because of that too.. (half full)

C1E, C3 and C6 State, volting & clock controller features in CPU, to reduce power when you are not utilizing the CPU.
Btw, not much differences in real life, unless you peep @ milliseconds.

I'm also kinda new to SSD, what I did is, follow the whole optimization guide thoroughly.
Through testing, I found out the most important ones are,

1. SSD must connect to Intel sata3 6gbps port for optimal performance
2. Use the Intel chipset/RST driver
3. Update the SSD firmware
4. Other than that, just follow the guide at first page

Bought this piece @ RM 595 without postage fee, satisfy with it at the moment, hopefully the high efficiency stays let say after 2 or 3 years of usage.

Just bought a Kingston SSDNow 120GB!
Use it under Sata 2 Port as mobo doesn't have SATA 3.
Will be getting a Pcie card soon!

Here are the results.

I reckon that is not a good investment.
Read a lot on the web that, mostly are running Marvell chipset and Marvell does not support trim.
And a lot of PCIe x1 sata 3 controllers are junk, a good one PCIe x4 comes with hefty price.
Better keep the money for next upgrade and use the current native sata2 intel controller.

Unless you transferring GBs of data everyday.

Max dy. Read speed still can go, but need sata3.
