stop bashing national car marker especially proton. criticize with manner, not condemn like proton is the ugliest, the stupid-est, the laziest and so on..

hey guys, i need help, im planning to buy a new car soon, but the most important things are fuel consumption, nice driving Feel, and strong body.
so can anyone of the savvy owners pls tell me the fuel consumption pls!!! coz i really dun trust the brochure...

THX a bunch!!!
*
my latest FC report for Savvy AMT year 2007 (february), mileage 35k++..

RM50 - 410KM

city driving 180KM (most of the time is traffic jam)
hiway driving 230KM (average speed 140km/h, sumtimes 160-170km/h)

and i can say the FC is good. cos if drive using the right speed RM50 for 500km shudnt be a problem.

that y savvy is the best car in term of fc..
*
not only fc la.. the best performance and handling also in its class thumbup.gif when im using my kembara, i dont even dare to speed more than 120km/h. not because of speed trap or car stability, it's becos the fc really killing me sweat.gif savvy - tech savvy + fc saving rclxms.gif

so then which one do u suggest i buy??? savvy or saga???

i prefer saga coz of the space, but i prefer savvy bcuz of fc..

so im really kinda lost rite now.. and the savvy is slightly more expensive...

but is the price difference worth it??? or should i go with the saga???

oh yea.. and i forgot to ask.. does the savvy haf airbags???
*
if u prefer performance and fc, savvy is the best choice.. overall saga will only give u more space than savvy. ya, if im not mistaken, airbag is a standard acc for savvy. but for driver only.

amt is way cool! can switch between manual and auto on the spot (when moving).

well, maybe i got problems with fuel meter gauge. huhu. cant read it accurately.

btw, for engine burn in, izzit ok if i rev it? huhu.

i wonder, will people start considering buying savvy due to oil price hike? hahaha. maybe not. they prefer viva or myvi than. hehe.
*
why u'r saying so?

viva - underpower, over priced. FC? i dont think much different..
myvi - diff class (diff price also la), but below savvy performance.. FC? not much diff, infact it can be better..

savvy - tougher and solid than both cars

cos they think perodua is superior compare to proton. haha. if people be more realistic like u. erh. don flame me. hehe.
good lar wat. u got new stock.
i havent got chances to sit at the back while the car is moving. hehe.

i think the interior is fine.

one thing to take note about, amt is not an auto car. still the feel driving it is like driving a manual car. so should expect hiccups jerk when changing gear.
ok. this happened to me few days ago n yesterday.

1. i am slowing down for a bump. tap brake. engage gear N. slowly i slowdown the car then i try to engage gear again. i still press/tap the brake btw. yet my gear still at N. refuse to change. at the end i hv to fully stop my car then only able to change gear. paiseh cos at the back got 3 cars and at that time i edy pass the bump. b4 this i able to change gear D <> N without any prblems; when the car is moving.

2. happened yesterday. my gear stuck at gear 3. hang. no matter what i did still stuck at 3. no problems with clutch cos i can stop the car and the engine still turn on. damn! so scared. i stop the car. turn off the enggine. then start it back then only it change back to N. so far everything seems normal to me.

can any1 tell me why? so sad. sad.gif btw mine is amt hiline.
*
1. actually it happened to me b4.. u suppose to fully stop ur car before change the gear.. i think, maybe it's for safety purpose.. but then why u shift to N when the car is moving? even when u stop at traffic lite also dont have to shift to N.. actually it ady in 'standby mode' just like u shift to N. all auto cars are like that if im not wrong..

2. happened to me quite number of times. u have to play with the accelerate padel so the car can get the rite speed to shift to appropriate gear. better get used to it. i donno whether it's a problem or just a normal thing happen. better ask hypermount or others who expert with amt thingy.. but then, for me it's still a good car and fun to drive.. u know what, everytime i got passenger, they will impressed with the way of amt function. besides, i will speed until the limit and they will say that the car have a good stability etc.. they dont ever think that savvy that good! smile.gif
