Since it's pretty much barebones, it's a prime candidate for an autocross car.

Proton loan rate now already at the range of 3.88% and 3.9%
The 2.75% or 2.8% are for Civil Servants. BTW proton got discount 3k for Savvy only or other product also got? I still waiting for the new Sedan to officially launch. So that all proton's product will have price revise! |

Hello all, Savvy AMT is like Alfa Romeo's Selespeed or Q-System right ? hm.. maybe it totally differrent things? as my Si Fu told me so. anyway i am going get a small car, KIA, Naza - totally in my black list. Honda Toyota and european car still cannot afford~ so so ~ only left Proton Savvy, My VI and Viva in my mind. Now i am kind of thinking of buy Savvy, any other cars recommendation ?? recent day i do read a lot of article about bad and good of Malaysian Cars. Some more question need to ask you all, Is Savvy really that taugh ?? as i didnt test on satria neo, hm..welll still the same. another thing is the spare part wise, really easy to get ?? will that be very very pricey ?? thanks for view and answer my answer !!

Stay away from AMT. I've browsed savoc.net and got the shock of my life coz there's 2 critical component related to the AMT cost RM8k and RM13k respectively.....one guy there has his broken, luckily still under warranty..http://www.savoc.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=865 Look at item 1 and 25. But the price above i believe is old price and now it should be cheaper after Proton announce the Savvy parts price reduction exercise. But max drop is 30%, so u just do an estimate calculation. I think the other parts are not so expensive, so far as i can see. So go for manual if buying Savvy. As for which car to choose, it's up to ur needs. If u need the space, MYVI is the answer. If you want a fun ride with good handling, then it's Savvy. If u can afford Myvi, then pleez just forget about VIVA. It's not worth it. This post has been edited by Matrix: Aug 4 2007, 08:08 PM |

Why don't you guys tred out EON? EON SC isn't that bad..they're pretty systematic and professional..and they provided the lowest interest rate I believe even for now...my loan is a 9 years with 3.15%, that was before major hooha over 1st NAP price reduction. Bought my MT for RM42 888, nice number. See, I placed a great trust on my Savvy and till now it never disappont me a second. QUOTE(god_of_cookery @ Aug 5 2007, 12:37 AM) So if i want tobuy that savvy lite with fullloan on it? how much do u think i got to pay it monthly then? try this loan calculator..http://autoworld.com.my/tools/loan_settlement_calculator.asp If you have a car to trade in with value from RM15k, you could shorten the loan repayment period to 5 years with low interest, about RM600++ per month. QUOTE(haze @ Aug 5 2007, 02:22 AM) hehe i guess this kind of gearbox is expensive. Isnt the honda city CVT gearbox also costs like rm20k++? Actually the AMT modules is still cheaper than conventional torque converter, for a brand new TC it cost more than RM20k alone also..source from Proton parts inventory.I doubt the parts broke down, it was robust like other gearboxes. eEven there's a slight oil leak from the driveshaft oil seal, they would change the whole set for you. |
