True... Basically I'm looking for a Windows version of Mac book air. I think I'll have to wait....

Btw, why is it other brand still not yet update to Haswell ? Trying to clear out old stock? Or Intel supply shortage?

If you can wait, the upcoming XPS13 will probably be the closest contender to the MBA13, as usual haha laugh.gif

Not sure what's the main reason for the slow in terms of update... maybe they are releasing batch by batch, targeting budget consumer units 1st hmm.gif

Not really sure its related to the "slow-ness" in the release of Haswell-powered ultrabooks hmm.gif
Based on what I've read, Haswell was actually introduced to reduce the steady decline in demand for notebooks as a result of smaller tablets/smartphones hmm.gif

Wintel is trying to slowly grind their way back into the tablet market with
Silvermont & Haswell/Broadwell + W8.1 / W8.1RT
Only time will tell if they will be successful smile.gif Won't put it pass them, since Wintel haters have been predicting their demise for over a decade but they are still kicking laugh.gif

1. Preferred Brand - MSI or Asus or lenovo.. but personally love msi
2. Budget - 3k +
3. Usage - Gaming and programming
4. Preferred laptop/screen size - 15.x would be sweet, but anything dat suit dat budget

Prefer thin and cool design.. the thinner the better.. also hope for a laptop dat wont overheat too much when gaming..

1. Preferred Brand: Asus (First choice cause of its 2 years warranty) or Msi smile.gif unless there's other brand which is worth buying
2. Budget: let's say rm3000 at max? Cause my parents just want to get me something that is worth for its money. smile.gif
3. Usage: playing games like Guild Wars 2 (GW2), LOL, Dota2, Mmo games in general
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: laptop 14" I guess? As long as its decent biggrin.gif

Much appreciated if I get a good and quick response as I'm in need of one now sad.gif
