Actually, if you compare Orijen to RC or Science Plan or even iams, the price is almost the same! Initially I wanted to give him iams, since it is slightly better compared to Whiskas and Friskies... But when I did a rough calculation, the difference is very little between all this... Then between RC and Science Plan, Orijen is made from human grade ingredient, actual chicken meat, high in protein and contains NO wheat or gluten... That's why I just went for Orijen

I've always preferred short hair (kucing kampung) type... But typically my husband likes long hair... Had a row of argument, before keeping Oren, cuz I didn't want even a semi long hair, short hair is the best to me

In the end Oren grew to me too... But I do feel like snipping of his hair sometimes

ps - Cool siggy! Too bad I can't use it or else will exceed my maximum siggy height

Ya, short fur cat is not that kelam kabut ><"

ya RC/SP/Iams/Orijen price difference is about 40-60, and ofcourse different price different kg. the bigger pack u getting, the cheaper it will be

example like...i can get iams adult for rm118 (9kg), and RC persian rm150-rm170 (10kg)
and ofcource the more cats u have, u will have to choose the reasonable one. like my cats eat 9kg iams for 22 days.
there's one product they said cheap and good, smartheard if im not mistaken. my cats like it but the fur will fall everywhere. so i stop.
as for whiskas and friskies, my kucing kampung pernah makan ni, about 4 months my male cat kena batu karang, kencing berdarah

gosh the vets ask me to stop giving that. i quit that, and give iams kitten and everything goes back to normal. he just took anti biotic cos not yet critical.

oh yea. my male cat also got the gallstone (batu karang) till they have to put tube inside his penis. pity him. also becoz eating friskies.. but depends. my other male cats ok jea. just this one a bit sensitive.
Whats batu karang? Some pictures would be nice.

yes some cat dont have problem.
there is one time i pissed off this this lady. i was telling her a story about whiskas and frieskies harm my male kitten until dapat gallstone block his urine. i do not blame whiskas/frieskies cos i know my friends give this food to their kucing kampung and no problem at all. and that lady also feed her cats and kittens with whiskas.
out of sudden she say "alah kucing kamu tu pendek umur, jangan salah kan makanan"... i was pissed off - and say i gtg run now. lucky she is older than me.
you see... how dare she said my kitten is pendek umur!!! im not blaming the food anyway. in my heart, i say - "who she think she is? god ah?"

Added on December 6, 2007, 4:03 pmi usually go to the government vet in cheras. not bad.. when i come, mesti ada those people training to be a pet nurse. so i tengok lah dorang training n kerja. very interesting

if go to private vet, the best part it, you can ask anything - even chatting with them if no other customer. government vet very hard to do this, cos they are all busy. no time to chit chat longer

She is just jealous ma...
You guys have government's clinic? I wonder in kuching got or not.. xD

Same as mine. My Stuart had it once.... I was so sad,
not only me, my whole family was. It was in October 2005.
Everytime when I visited Stuart in the vet, i will surely cry.
I just can't bear to see him like that... not sure how painful it is... goodnessss....
Stuart in the cage.
He is trying to clean himself as the tube in his penis will cause the urine to drip out all the time... ouch!!
Closer look of the tube inserted through his penis all the way to his bladder. There are 3 stitches so that the tube doesn't come out. OOucchh... how painful it is... so how can I not cry when I see this??
Thank God... everything is ok now... He is our cute healthy fierce little boy!
And i'm feeding him different food, he is on diet food from the vet. Just to play safe, i'm continuing the diet food for him...
Awwww... Thats gotta hurt.
But thanks God she's fine now

Some pics on Buddy and Tiger.
The scenario that i caught when i stepped into my house was this... *look at the pics below*
Pic 1: Buddy is trying to catching a bug outside the window while Tiger is looking at Buddy.
Pic 2: "Buddy, Tiger, look here, say cheese"
Pic 3: My huge Tiger
It's a joy to have furkids in the house. Oh well, sometimes can also cause us to have high blood pressure if they are too naughty...
Hehehe, and i love to see my mom holding the cane around the house nowadays to scare them when they are too naughty... When we are young, mom will hold the cane for us, now mom using the cane for all my cats
Pic 4: Buddy (left) & Tiger (right) I love your cat's fur and color. Mix breed?
After seeing alot of you guys talking about food, so, whats the best to give them? I'm planning to get other foods for my cats right after my Whiskhas finish.(Gosh they slow at eating
