its odd that of all diseases, u fear of toxoplasmosis.
the disease usually is not severe (unless u have aids) & resolve itself. human death due to this is rare. the protozoa targets cat to reproduce. then it goes with the cat's poo. humans are not very susceptible of contracting the disease unless u eat unwashed vege, improperly cooked meat, eat cat or their poo (yuck |

I love maine coons.
IINM, they like to play with water They can grow so big that even dogs might be afraid of them i think u can get a maine coon kitty for around rm1k from Pusaka Rimba. But for now, they don't have any kitten available. Need to wait for new litter. Shame that they neuter all pet kitten. I don't believe in sterilizing pets even though i fully understand the reasoning. MC kitten for breeding are very hard to come by. Even if they have 1, they would be very picky. Money by itself is not enough & lots of terms to agree with. Must go to cat show etc etc. |

QUOTE(hyakushikki @ Nov 30 2007, 12:12 PM) hi, i'm new here... i live in an apartment.i wanna ask some question...i live in apartment..izzit efficient for the cat if stay in apartment( i mean, apartment is smaller if compare wif house which will limit them on exploring) and i need a lot of tips b4 i go for a cat....i try google-ed it up..it gives me quite lots of info, bt wat i need is info from experts like u all... anyone can give any info b4 i go adopt a cat? thx ^^ no problem. at least the apartment is bigger than most cages sometimes when i let the door open, he'll try to go out but never dare to go very far. coz i'll scold him. he knows when he made any mistake or being naughty & readies for me to get him he'll run right back in once he hear the sound of me opening the grill. no need for me to shout for his name just a matter of some training |

i dunno..but its really fun
being a muslim & can't adopt a dog, having a cat with dog-like playing behavior is good enough Added on November 30, 2007, 10:52 pmbtw, he's not even a year old. so still playful & hope he'll kept being playful for the rest of his life & he also love to play with cockroaches (until their heads came off This post has been edited by caerulln: Nov 30 2007, 10:52 PM |

U mean islam does not allow neuter?
U got it wrong my brother. There is already a fatwa saying that neutering & spaying is allowed in Islam as long as it is for good intention |

Past few days i was just thinking to change from royal canin to friskies so i can save some money.
Thanks to u all for refreshing my memory about the batu karang. forgotten about the issue already. Next time, i'm going for Orijen. The largest pack (7kg) is a little cheaper (price/kg) than royal canin kitten i'm giving now & BETTER quality (45% vs 34% protein) |

orijen come in 400g (not sold in buddypetwagon), 2.5kg & 7kg
RC also came in 10kg pack (in buddypetwagon) which is slightly cheaper than Orijen (price/kg) But I'm sold on the higher protein content elfreakz: If your cat does not intend to run away, it will know how to come back. But if they took the elevator, I'm not sure |

QUOTE(elfreakz @ Dec 8 2007, 12:54 AM) is that a pure siamese? not pure siamese. DSH only.my gabby is DLH.. i adopted her. the owner told me she is mix breed between domestic long hair (cream color) and himalayan.. that is why gabby color like that... she is one happy DLH.. but guys, dont try this at home without knowledge about breeds. else you will spoil the breed history oh by the way dien, i admire Pino.. love the color.. Pure breed hella expensive if i'm looking for a pure breed, I'll go with Maine coon (especially blue & white color) |
