I would like to share my 5 babies...
Stuart - the king of the house with a big mole Tiger - the wise president Buddy - the most gentle cat of all and always get bullied! Sydney - the youngest in the family and yet the most chicky one...Only Sydney was adopted 1/2 yrs later than the rest. The rest are all siblings, their mother died on the road when they are only about 2+ weeks, so we brought them home and fed them with milk using little bottles... so pity... Thank God, now all are healthy and make us all busy at home. |

QUOTE(silencio87 @ Nov 26 2007, 12:19 PM) hey there... Hi silencio87, i want to share my experience with you. my cat is now 7 months old and im rather worried about this cat's behaviour tho. He is afraid of people especially guests or outsiders. He's ok with the family members but not other people. He tends to hide in dark places whenever he heards loud noises like the firework . Also,at times,he gets really aggressive and starts climbing on any of the family members. He scratched me on the face the other day Im a bit worried because before this,he is such a charming cat.I only have him alone and i got him when he was 2/3 months old. What's wrong with this cat? I have a cat like yours. All my cats are home cat, i don't let them out of the house... Stuart is the king of the house. He is like our dog at home coz he is ok with all the family members but not visitors to our home. Whenever i have friends coming over, i need to cage him because he will go around to scratch/bite other people that he is not familiar with. Sometimes he will even scratch/bite us too... I even asked my vet, what's wrong with him... My vet just said that it is his behaviour, he is a grumpy cat! Heehehee... The vet did said that some owners even have this type of cats' finger nails being pulled out so that they dont harm the family members but it is a very painful process. Or some owners will put this type of cat to sleep if they really can't handle the cat which i don't think i can ever do this to Stuart. Well, in other country, there are psychologists in treating animals. When met with this type of animals/cat, they will bring it to the psychologist to examine what are the root that cause the animals to behave like this. Just like human... but too bad, i don't think Malaysia have this kinda treatment for our furkids. Just to share with you. Not sure if there are really something wrong but i have a cat like yours! |

Just want to share my michievious Sydney girl. She is the youngest in the family and yet, the naughtiest, very active, very michievious... she will go around and disturb others sometimes... very funny to see them playing together. She is also the only one that haven't been spayed yet. The rest of my 4 cats already been castrated / spayed. So when she is on heat, hhhhmmmm

QUOTE(lilcatty @ Nov 30 2007, 01:55 PM) oh yeah, even my MS and another big size dog at home dont even dare to mess up with her or they'll get few scratches and slaps from her xD that's why getting another cat will be an impossible thing for me to think now xD and sydney's so cute! You should be contented coz you have cat and dogs together. Once, i tried to bring a pup home, goodness... my 5 cats acted soooo strangely as if there were intruder at our home. They even fought among themselves. |

Sydney usually will follow my mom and sleep with her. The rest of my cats, hhmmm not sure which high corner they will hide and sleep. at night, the MS will be sleeping on my legs, and the cat would be sleeping beside my pillow xD |

QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ Dec 5 2007, 02:54 PM) Haha, cute! Yeah, they always wanna masuk rumah. I'm staying in an apartment and Oren does not go outdoors except for his balcony. Working time and night time he stays in the balcony, but as soon as he hears someone is at home, he'll meow and start scratching the door to come in. He just likes being with people (well, just me and my husband for that case KP Wah... your Oren very clever ehhhh.... As for my cats, sometimes when we are sleeping in the room and lock the door, and if they wanna come into the room, they will sit right in front of the door and meow till we open the door. You better open the door for them, else they will meow till you can't sleep |

QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ Dec 6 2007, 02:44 PM) A cat lover will not care if the cat is kucing kampung or what and will provide only the best for it. I agree with this. All my 5 cats are also picked up by the roadside... going for vaccination will at least provide them some immune system they need rather than they always fall sick, then only bring to vet. That time, lagi waste time and money. My friend has 3 kucing kampung. Vaccinate every year. All neutered. Feeding on Royal Canin. Mine is also a kucing kampung (truly from kampung all the way from Kelantan summore juz got mix a bit It doesn't matter what breed if you love cats I hope your kittens will get a good home KP If can afford, then can go to nicer clinic, if can't then just drop by those government clinic where my neighbour always bring some strays there too... |
