Furthermore if it is true that your cat got whacked to death by your neighbour, why wasn't it mentioned earlier. And if it is true, you can report her to the SPCA or responsible forces to take actions against her for cruelty towards animal.

Spay/neutering means "kasi" or "kembiri" in BM or they say "yim" in Chinese.

They will do a minor surgery on the reproduction area that will prevent the female cat to get pregnant or the male cat to impregnate a female cat.

Spaying/neutering also helps to control your pet in a lot of ways besides having more kittens/pups

If you have a pet, ANY type of pet(esp weird or exotic or pure breeds one), most of the time they are the master to you. The owners are merely slaves to them for feeding them, caring for them, cleaning their poo/housing, spending money on their needs/vets and so on...

So it does not apply only to cats, but all type of pets

That is why you must think hard, twice or even a 100x before getting a pet.

It's a male. A cross breed of "kucing kampung" & DLH.



My husband call him Oren

Went to the vet, the vet ask for the cat's name, we we're like, err, "oren"



Haha, I think the "bulat2" eyes was accidental capture cuz he was being playful that time I think all cats have big round eyes

He is very playful and manja with me & my husband, but the moment we have a guest, he will run off hiding at the back of the washing machine until the guest leaves

So if people wanna play with him, have to stay and let him get used to them for a few days first



I think Friskies price at hypermarkets are cheap.

Science Diet and such has standard price, don't think think you can get it cheaper than any other place. Difference perhaps a few cents only.

Go for better food lar, don't just think about cheap, but think of the quality of the food Bet you'd be choosy of your own food right?

Yes, you can take RapidKL buses from Pasar Seni to Kompleks Kerajaan Jalan Duta.

I don't remember the number but there's one that goes into Matrade every hour or so, can try ask the RapidKL attendants

Some of my friends who went to Matrade on work basis had a chance to enjoy the the show for a bit, they said there we're lots and lots of beaoootiful cats and not to mention award winning ones...

Tomorrow the exhibition and such will go on, but most winning cats will not be there anymore as most owners wants to give them the day off

Owh, and they said there are also cats for adoption

Err, sounds pretty normal...

Some cats are just like that.

"Oren" is exactly like your cat... He is only used to me and my husband and will immediately run and hide when we have guest at home.

Once I forced him out from the back of the washing machine and gave him to my friend to hold for a while, he struggled to run away and "koyak" a bit of my friends shirt

But when it's only me and my husband, he is so "manja" and wants a belly rub and sleep near us only...

I think it's a matter of how we train and gets the cat used to people. I am doing that slowly by always taking him out from his hiding place and show to people(but I will hold him...), my next plan is to take him "jalan-jalan" outdoors with a leash mebbe

Dude, don't simply judge and say it's ugly lar. The Sphynx never asked to be created that way. It's beautiful in its own way.

It's a special breed without fur, great for people allergic to cat fur.

It will grow very fine fur during really cold times but will shed the lot when it is hot.

I think I have answered that question regarding spaying & neutering to you before.

It's called "kasi or kembiri" in Malay and "yim" in Chinese.

It's to prevent your cat(s) to breed lah. Have sooooo many kittens, nobody wants it, and end up become strays, dirty and dead.

Haha, cik abang brother, that's where you are wrong and why most kampung folks won't neuter their pets.

I am a muslim too and I neuter all my pets because I do not want uncontrolled breeding.

I do not wish to contribute to the suffering of unwanted pets. There's already too many of them, be it cats, dogs, hamsters and so on.

Long time already JAKIM has announce on the fatwa shared here by elfreakz, and that is exactly what I tell the people in my kampung now

Shampoo, for now I am using mild baby shampoo cuz he is only 5 months and I worry normal cat shampoo is a bit harsh Bathe with warm water every 2 weeks, scrub a' dub dub all over especially the ears

Fleas, did a frontline treatment.

Conditioner, I use a 3 in 1 powder that includes conditioning, rub it in and brush it

Yeah, nail clipper, I use the normal one too (for human). One is specially for my pets

Ear care, so far the cleaning during his bath time is good enough, his ears are sparkly clean inside out

Oh no, no, I make sure no water masuk lar, I don't pour the water inside, I use my wet fingers to rub the ears and clean any debris out

Uii, rain water? Ask sifus if okay not? I've never used rain water or cold tap water, I make sure the water is warm, either use the shower water heater or masak air and add to the baldi.

I think if rain water kena human also can demam, won't it effect cats too? Cats can get demam too you know...



Yup, just the sharp tip only... If I don't cut, rosak lah all my precious furniture
