I saw comments in this same thread whereby someone mentioned that residential properties wouldn't be affected the same way commercial (commercial titled residential props??) ones would. If someone can detail the differences, that would be great.

Residential 1 then developer can don need to include gst on selling price.. so it will be cheaper...

Can look for the singapore GST on property

The link above actually put serviced apartment under Residential unit, so we should be fine if the same rule applies in Msia...
