Yeah, i just removed my KX few days back. Thought of remove the cerato emblem is due to i saw one OTR removed and to be frank i think it's kind of nice and i also didn't realise what model of kia it is until it brakes tongue.gif , it actually gave a "clean" and nice feel, plus washing car will no longer need to "avoid" the cerato emblem.  thumbup.gif . Of couse it's just my own opinion as not many KX OTR, removing it leaves those that are curious wondering what model of kia it is.  laugh.gif

I removed my Cerato emblem the first day I got my ride. I prefer pretty and clean or you can call it "sterile" version.

My ride is without the KIA emblem too only the installed the "K" logo

Besides the emblem, I have seen one Cerato with customized number plate, whereby the owner uses a black plastic plate cut out in a hexagon shape (standard holder totally removed of course) that follows the design flow of the rear. Very clean finishing and looks rather cool, if you ask me. If you are the minimalist type, you are going to like it.

I second that. Came across one member of Penang K3 sporting such plate holder.
Look really nice

Hi, you managed to removed the KIA logo at the middle of the trunk? shocking.gif
I thought that should be hard to remove plus, replacing it will be hard to find. (Replace with batman logo perhaps?) laugh.gif

Just for sharing purposes in case anyone experienced the same problem :

Recently I had this "Jerking" Problem when i slow my car down. it was quite bad and the feeling was the the car had a "sudden pull back" when i slowed down.

Initially, i tot it could be a gear problem (which is gonna be troublesome). Sent it to PJ RedCube to check. They had experience this issue before and resolved it within 30 mins.

The solution : Plug it into the "Computer" and do a reset. Problem Solved!

As a new owner of KX, i would say if city is 2014 spec, i go for KX, but if city with 2015 spec, hmmm... hmm.gif

Ok, just few things in consideration IMHO.
1) Price
2) Safety
3) FC

If price around the same and diff just not much, think of safety. For FC i think city is slightly better in city drive but FC still comes down to driver's habit.

Last, test drive both. Very important, as b4 i go for KX i was almost sure to myself my heart choice is Fiesta Ecoboost, but after actual test drive by feeling the compartment, accessories, and drive. I got my KX mainly because of fiesta is a bit on the small side which i thought i can accept in view of the engine performance n handling, but once i sit on rear seat of fiesta. I changed my mind and switched to Kx.

I think you'll basically have a better idea of which brand of car will be worth your 80plus K hard earn money smile.gif

hehe glittering metal is a fairly popular color..but interestingly during a recent TT, Red and white was really popular.

It's good to see more ceratos on the road..hopefully that encourages Naza to build up their knowledge base and spare parts stock

+1 on this bit. I had the same problem right after I changed my ATF. In my case the pull was noticeable when shifting down from 3 -> 2. For our 6 banger gearbox, 2 -> 3 and vice versa is the hardest to get done right due to the clutches that need to be engaged.

Could very well occur on other gears as well. But when it does, have the SC do a TCU (transmission control unit), BMS (Brake management) and ECU reset. Drive around for a while and it should hopefully solve the issue.

The suggested procedure after doing this is to drive the car at a steady throttle position allowing the car to cycle up from gears 1 through 6 and all the way down again to a complete halt. Do it 5 times and the gearbox will hopefully have the proper adaptive settings again.
