Basically if the engine is running and the key is inside the car, and if the car is under locked mode, no one can unlock it from outside, this is of course a safety feature.

Likewise, you cannot lock the car from the outside, while the engine running and the key inside the car. The only way to lock it is from the inside.

I believe Cerato behave the same like Forte. If that is the case, the only way to lock the door when the engine running is to use the manual key provided (lock & unlock it manually from outside) 

Many owners did not notice that there's a (manual) key inside the smart key itself

Yeah, i just removed my KX few days back. Thought of remove the cerato emblem is due to i saw one OTR removed and to be frank i think it's kind of nice and i also didn't realise what model of kia it is until it brakes , it actually gave a "clean" and nice feel, plus washing car will no longer need to "avoid" the cerato emblem.  . Of couse it's just my own opinion as not many KX OTR, removing it leaves those that are curious wondering what model of kia it is. 

Besides the emblem, I have seen one Cerato with customized number plate, whereby the owner uses a black plastic plate cut out in a hexagon shape (standard holder totally removed of course)  that follows the design flow of the rear. Very clean finishing and looks rather cool, if you ask me. If you are the minimalist type, you are going to like it.

Hi, you managed to removed the KIA logo at the middle of the trunk? 
I thought that should be hard to remove plus, replacing it will be hard to find. (Replace with batman logo perhaps?)

Im in the same dilemma as both of u ~ at d end of d day ~ i buy CERATO! really a good buy ~ im buying KX version so it is cheaper than both elantra n city v spec ~ but got all the features and tech ~ d downside only 2airbags and no VSC ~ but overall im happy with my choice ~

I facing the same problem too. I was sent to SC to reset A/T adaptive valve 1 month ago, problem solved. However, the problem comes again 1 week ago, feeling bad. Anyone of you still facing same problem after resetting the computer? Any solution to overcome this issue?

Yes, it will happens if the gear reduce fast from top gear to 1st gear. It will not happen always but intermitently. Same situation on your car? Hopefully you can share ur exp with us after sending your car to sc.

hi khan! thanks for the headsup. Really a tough choice... coz i really don't like the shape of the city on the outside...at all! interior only the high spec is okay for me...for kx even the most basic spec still looks nicer den the low spec city... gotta think really hard
