My K3 still in break in period (<1km) but I notice the fuel consumption indicator was 14l/100km.
Will this improve after the 1st service ?

QUOTE(coconutzz @ Oct 7 2014, 09:14 AM) 32 psi is the recommended pressure. For those collecting your new car, pls check the pressure cause they pumped higher psi during storage at warehouse. Found my tire psi was around ~38 psi |

QUOTE(Buydirect @ Jan 7 2015, 05:41 PM) Basically if the engine is running and the key is inside the car, and if the car is under locked mode, no one can unlock it from outside, this is of course a safety feature. Thanks for the reply Likewise, you cannot lock the car from the outside, while the engine running and the key inside the car. The only way to lock it is from the inside. |

QUOTE(izputra @ Jan 8 2015, 03:36 PM) I believe Cerato behave the same like Forte. If that is the case, the only way to lock the door when the engine running is to use the manual key provided (lock & unlock it manually from outside) OK .. I will give it a try later. It was difficult for my wife to lock the door from inside when she is carrying our baby. Many owners did not notice that there's a (manual) key inside the smart key itself [attachmentid=4292814] |

QUOTE(Chester77 @ Jan 27 2015, 12:27 PM) Yeah, i just removed my KX few days back. Thought of remove the cerato emblem is due to i saw one OTR removed and to be frank i think it's kind of nice and i also didn't realise what model of kia it is until it brakes I removed my Cerato emblem the first day I got my ride. I prefer pretty and clean or you can call it "sterile" version. My ride is without the KIA emblem too only the installed the "K" logo |

QUOTE(Buydirect @ Jan 27 2015, 01:47 PM) Besides the emblem, I have seen one Cerato with customized number plate, whereby the owner uses a black plastic plate cut out in a hexagon shape (standard holder totally removed of course) that follows the design flow of the rear. Very clean finishing and looks rather cool, if you ask me. If you are the minimalist type, you are going to like it. I second that. Came across one member of Penang K3 sporting such plate holder.Look really nice |

QUOTE(Chester77 @ Jan 27 2015, 02:20 PM) Hi, you managed to removed the KIA logo at the middle of the trunk? Easily found and available. A lot of seller and most of the accessories shop have it.I thought that should be hard to remove plus, replacing it will be hard to find. (Replace with batman logo perhaps?) I just get the car accessories shop to do the removal |

QUOTE(coolman1024 @ Mar 21 2015, 10:19 AM) QUOTE(coconutzz @ Jan 28 2015, 10:55 AM) I have not send mine to resolve this issue. The jerking happened when you was braking and the gear changed to lower gear when slowing down?Just for sharing purposes in case anyone experienced the same problem : Recently I had this "Jerking" Problem when i slow my car down. it was quite bad and the feeling was the the car had a "sudden pull back" when i slowed down. Initially, i tot it could be a gear problem (which is gonna be troublesome). Sent it to PJ RedCube to check. They had experience this issue before and resolved it within 30 mins. The solution : Plug it into the "Computer" and do a reset. Problem Solved! --------- As mentioned, for sharing purposes only * I facing the same problem too. I was sent to SC to reset A/T adaptive valve 1 month ago, problem solved. However, the problem comes again 1 week ago, feeling bad. Anyone of you still facing same problem after resetting the computer? Any solution to overcome this issue? |

QUOTE(coolman1024 @ Mar 21 2015, 01:56 PM) Yes, it will happens if the gear reduce fast from top gear to 1st gear. It will not happen always but intermitently. Same situation on your car? Hopefully you can share ur exp with us after sending your car to sc. Ya it happened intermittently .... usually when you slow down your car and the gears changed like from 3rd to 1st gear (skipping 2nd gear). |

QUOTE(keagan @ Apr 16 2015, 04:20 PM) hi khan! thanks for the headsup. Really a tough choice... coz i really don't like the shape of the city on the outside...at all! interior only the high spec is okay for me...for kx even the most basic spec still looks nicer den the low spec city... gotta think really hard Get K3 and you will not regret it.thanks for the info though~ Take a look at K3 after a year and you won't feel bored of the look. The back lights are so sexy Btw, you are about right on the full tank mileage for pg island .... 350 - 380km for city drive. |
