imo, spending tier = statement cycle
as for cashback, it has been stated in T&C that posted is 1 day before (similar to Affin cards)

those not posted in statement for cash back might not include in the tier as well as they got not enough time to calculate the tier cb %
for example before statement total spend = RM1400 and there is another RM100 not recorded for the cb but into statement, the cb percentage might fall under tier 1 as well
only those who face this before will know
Update on my cashback on RHB Shell card latest statement.for example before statement total spend = RM1400 and there is another RM100 not recorded for the cb but into statement, the cb percentage might fall under tier 1 as well
only those who face this before will know
My spending that posted within the statement month = RM2,200
RM200 posted 2 days after statement, RM100 posted on statement date.
Cashback tier I received for the above scenario = Tier 3, i.e. 12% on Shell Petrol & 5% on Online / eWallet / Utilities / Groceries spending.
So, I am lucky to have the Tier 3 cashback which is different than what tan_aniki has on his Visa Signature card. and it look like the spending tier is based on transaction date as the RM2500 was spent within the calendar month, but, get posted late for my last 2 transactions. Unless CashXcess amount also treated as spending?
Refer to screenshot of my txn list, i only have 1 petrol transaction in the statement, the cashback i received is 12% (RM79.70 x 12% = RM9.56)
