I think I am late to the party. Been busy lately and didn’t have time to check every thread since my last RHB card was many years ago. Didn’t know the RHB Shell Visa Card is such an interesting card. Will read more before I apply tomorrow. Thinking to apply the VS as well, looks OK but any hidden catch which I’m not aware of?

So, I already registered my interest via online and it says they will be in touch with me soon. I will just wait for them to call me? Or email me? I read some feedback, it takes very long for them to contact the applicants. How long should I wait typically? Thanks.

I haven't received any call for my application yet but I just received a call for RHB event invitation in PJ. Coincidentally? I'm not sure. I have not received any call from RHB for years until today.

Still nobody called me after I registered my interest last week, so got the contact from a fellow forummer here. Yesterday applied and with verification call, I can see it is captured in CCRIS on yesterday. Hopefully will be approved...

WMC or VS ya? The agent wanted to apply WMC for me without noticing I wanted Shell Visa, after I told her I only need Shell Visa now, she applied that for me.

I told her I will add the cards later if I need to. Actually the biggest barrier for me is SST RM 25 for each card. I read both WMC or VS looks similar but different categories, so if I want to use for online I guess I will stick to VS. Or both also no good?

And any tips to get hold on CS? I called 12 times and none of them was connected to CS. All asked me to try again and said goodbye to me.

Is there any way to get their CS? I already sent email to them yesterday but how long do they take to reply? Calls never succeeded once, kept saying goodbye to me after listening to their long-winded IVR.

The generic 03-92068118. Is there any special no. for its premier line? Maybe I should apply one. I am too pampered by MBB and PBB.

OK la, looks like I'm not alone. I don't see this in other banks... CS are still responsive.

Anyway, managed to see CL amount from CCRIS, not bad and pretty generous, same amount as PBB which is the highest among other cards.

Came back from RHB Seremban 2, as expected they haven't received my card yet. I tried calling branch no. and apparently it is a fax no. Luckily the branch is like 10 minutes drive from my house. I asked for branch no., she refused to give to me but she said will call me when it arrives. Probably in 3 days time. Let's see. At least the PIC has taken down my no. and printed out my details from MyKad.

I also asked if I can open a BSA there (none of my addresses is in Seremban), she said I can do it but I have to bring employment confirmation letter and latest payslip... Then, I asked if I can register online banking for credit card in the branch, she said possible but I need to bring phone bill.. Luckily soft copy is accepted.

Till I collect my card later then.. Long process to go.

I give her benefits of doubt because I'm not from Seremban? Anyway, I managed to open BSA in HLB and CIMB near my office, though I didn't bring any employment proof and they didn't ask for it. They asked me why I chose to open at that branch and I just said because my office building is behind their branch. I was wearing company's lanyard and they can see it, so I guess no issue.

Anyway, I thought of opening RHB BSA to ease the online banking process but seems not that straightforward. I will just ask my team member to prepare a confirmation letter for me then just in case I finally decided to open one account.
