QUOTE(RegentCid @ Dec 27 2013, 08:06 AM) Those 700 yen are discount price and old stock. New shirt will be 1200 to 1500yen plus sales tax. Same price as Malaysia. So far I travel around world. China Uniqlo are cheapest. New shirt just 59 RMB only. After bought the clothes with tax right? when we back can we redeem back the tax at airport?

Even though its still winter here, shops are beginning to have sale for winter clothes as they would like to clear off this year winter stock. However I do find those winter clothes they sell in Banana Republic in Mid Valley are quite reasonable. As for food I cannot really comment. I guess Coke and Sprite and maybe bread is halal though. If you google, I think there is a page about halal food in Japan that was created by someone in Indonesia.

QUOTE(saldopullt @ Dec 27 2013, 10:05 AM) Hi, wanted to ask if u buy the package of 75mbps or the 21mbps? I understand that 75mbps is faster but if most area in Japan only support up to 21 mpbs then no point I get a 75mbps.. i went for the 75mbps package. silky smooth broadband experience. me and my friend had 3 gadgets that were constantly connected to the device. we also brought a portable charger to charge the device on the go so that we had whole day usage.

Dunno which airline you're taking but you can get winter wear at Uniqlo if you land at that terminal. I've never been to the Narita main terminal so cannot advise on that. you said not too strict on eating and looking at your avatar... just don't take the trouble to find out what you're eating ler...

Read that there will be big sales...something like US' black Friday. I celebrated new year with my gf (now wife) in Osaka 3 yrs ago. Didnt notice any particularly big sale event.. we just bought our bento dinner (like a New Year festive pack) and went back to hotel to enjoy. Cos everywhere was so packed with people.

One question. Anyone ever face problem getting bus tickets from Haneda after midnite due to full capacity because of numerous incoming flights?

We ate tons of seafood there. Although me and hubby are Muslim, we don't face any problem eating out. We didn't bring anything from Malaysia. We found several Muslim Bangladesh restaurant and eat seafood only. No meat and no chicken. QUOTE(xVentrusx @ Dec 27 2013, 03:25 PM) Hello. Wanna ask something cuz going to japan on 9th january.
