Just arrived Osaka from Seoul. During check in at counter, they asked me for Japan visa. I had to tell her that Malaysians do not need visa to Japan anymore...then she proceeded to check my return flight ticket. Luckily no issue, boarding pass issued and I'm here.

I'm planning to go for skiing Jan 11-13. Since I've not seen Mount Fuji, my pick would be Fujiten Snow Resort. Problem is, they don't provide accomodation. Where would you recomend to stay? Also, will I be able to see Mount Fuji during that period? Cloudy during winter right?

Anyone celebrated New Year in Japan before? I will be there in Osaka for this coming new year. Read that there will be big sales...something like US' black Friday.
