I think i missed it, Erm after install the speccy , i found my normal CPU temperature is about 50-60 , same to other etc HD , CD-ROM .

Just now been shut down for 3 time within 15 minute, now i am plugged in my battery without charging. See either the problem still occurs or not

note: take pic of ur notebook when u bring to service as it proof no body damage and so on..

edit: when at center explain them problem ur notebook facing let them run system diagnosis ... for us to help u ..kinda need more data to analyze

Thanks you for the tips , ya i will take to service center for sure. And a thing i copy from the Piriform Speccy about the ram "RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28)"

That mean my ram speed is just 798Mhz?

is a dual channal multiply that 798mhz by 2 u got 1600mhz... (11-11-11-28) latency channel or mem timing of your ram lower is better... let say performance ram sure it be faster latency only by 5%(9-9-9-24) something... (my opinion i could be very wrong) blush.gif

all are standard prices. Whr is the discount? Since you buying all these items. You should get discount. Or better search for individual items on lowyat forum. Might get better price.

and that TPlink wireless card is not that good. Better get Asus one.. the N series or the new AC series would be better.
i5 processor is fine but better get 780M smile.gif and that too the Asus brand, unless you can afford to ship a EVGA 780M from US. Hehe.

Oh and try Asus gaming motherboards smile.gif

although i like these asus gaming mobos, they are pricey. from benchmarks found online (printer-friendly; original post), asrock oc formula seemed performing better, and it's much cheaper too.

Ok after three years, my G53JW now seriously needing some repaste work done on it tongue.gif

Lads may I know which thermal compound you guys went with your CPU and GPU repaste work? Hopefully owners of G53/G55 with experience of doing it will come out and give me some ideas. What about the result? (be honest on this plz). I know some of ya have done it numerous times. Cheers.

Wo 3 years? Your place must be very clean :/ I replaced the thermal paste after 1 year (the gpu temperature shot up to over 85c; the fans/vents are covered with a thin layer of dust)

My preferences are ic diamond (current), as5, and tuniq tx4 for cpu. For gpu, prolimatech pk3.

The process for g55 is simple but tedious, due to the number of screws. Just watch the teardown at youtube and you should be good to go.

Not that clean lah haha. But ye I disassembled my notebook many times before to clean the fans, vents so I think it should be fine, hopefully tongue.gif Thanks to Asus as I needed to unscrew almost everything just to get to the fan part sweat.gif Ok I'll go with IC Diamond. Thanks a lot bro for your recommendation.

oh ok biggrin.gif it's best to read a bit about the application of ic diamond. I think there is a 2-hour cure time.

yeah I have no idea on why asus is particularly generous about screws hehe..
