its the cmos battery inside your laptop. probably worn out. just disassemble and replace it's close to the non-user accessible rams.. probably u want to add more rams too 

if u have 12gb ram.. ask them to swap the 2 outside with the stock ram inside.. so the next time u're planning to add more rams, u don't need to go to asus service center ..

shouldn't be that long, well the disassembling part is a pain in the ass tho... .. i took 2 hours on my first try to disassemble wholly and another 2 hours to assemble it back~.. they prolly could do it in 2h tops?
