hmm.gif I calculated and compare with conventional FD

if place in FD (10k annually for 5 years) with yearly 3.2% interest, after 15 years............you will get RM75,376

if place in SP as mentioned above, after 15 years you get RM77,500

laugh.gif you prefer which?
*
Looks like dividend reinvestment method still better.

Giving average return rate is 5%, put RM10K for 5 years, can get back RM 94.5K after 15 years.

hmm.gif I personally dun like Saving Plan, the return around same with FD but need a long lock in period.

We have many choice like sukuk bond which provide higher return, no lock in period.

SPs are only good for ppl without financial know-how and discipline. Period.

Not a problem.
Wording can be very sensitive issue in forums like this.
I remember one who insists that others are cursing his stock when he hears unfavourable wordings.
I LOL-ed!

Anyway, imo, it's more important to look at the 'current' charting for MAS.
The previous data is not too accurate or relevant because the size of the company has changed (me think for the worse actually. tongue.gif )

It doesn't really look all that bad but like I had said, I really can't find any motivation to trade a stock like this.

It's a 16 Billion share gorilla trading dressed as a penny stock. doh.gif
How to goreng 16,710,781,200 shares?
I think you would need a wok the size of a football field to stir fry this gorilla. tongue.gif

For those interested. I observe that MAS can rebound if it can break resistance at 32 sen
but support must hold at 30 sen.  Just my comments , Not buy or sell recommendations.

I am monitoring another stock which has corrected nicely about 20% from recent high and will try
to catch the rebound hopefully in next one or two days . and possibly  get some good gains.

This is already a forum for all to spit out our opinions.
When you continue 'visit my blog ... ' forumers here think you are like a blog salesman lor.

It's a turn off.

Our market is well protected by EPF, but few years down the road, min age for full EPF withdrawal is unlikely to stay at 55 hmm.gif

Now more than 52% of EPF money invested in Govt Bonds .

Found this piece of news...

How China Fudges Its Numbers

According to a statement on the statistics bureau’s website dated June 14 (in Chinese), the economic development and technology information bureau of Henglan, a town in southern China’s Guangdong province, massively overstated the gross industrial output of large firms in the area...

The statement said that 71 companies surveyed by the statistics bureau had industrial output of 2.22 billion yuan ($362 million) in 2012 in total, but that the local government recorded it as being 8.51 billion, almost four times as much as the actual figure...

some low profile stocks seem ignore the world trend. buyers keep buying and not many sellers.
I would ask, why they continue buying today? cannot wait until tomorrow meh?
They just don't care. They just buy. Maybe tomorrow not free, need to go watch Man of Steel and shopping. laugh.gif
