I think you should be well aware all shares DO NOT go straight up or down.
It's always x steps forward, y steps back.

And it's the share market.
Which is why I will never dare use the words 'no chance'.

If you take the time, just last month MAS went from a low of 34.5 to 41 sen.
That's good money for traders who can catch such movements.

Having said that, let me be clear.
I have no idea how MAS the share will perform in the future.
Frankly, I do not care but I won't simply use the words like 'no chance to rebound'...

This is what I meant too. I should add "short" term rebound for better description for my previous post.

Agree with you, in stock market, anything is possible. It just the winning/losing probabilities might be difference depends on situation.

For those interested. I observe that MAS can rebound if it can break resistance at 32 sen
but support must hold at 30 sen. Just my comments , Not buy or sell recommendations.

I am monitoring another stock which has corrected nicely about 20% from recent high and will try
to catch the rebound hopefully in next one or two days . and possibly get some good gains.

Probably, it won't be long before MAS would call another rights issue. The share price probably have taken that into account.

I know is not right to use this way of calculation, but if u use present value and future value formula, is only slightly more den fd.

Present value 50k. After 15-20 yrs(based on ur age), the surrender value maybe few hundred thousand.

hmm.gif I calculated and compare with conventional FD

if place in FD (10k annually for 5 years) with yearly 3.2% interest, after 15 years............you will get RM75,376

if place in SP as mentioned above, after 15 years you get RM77,500

laugh.gif you prefer which?
