What rom you using? If ARHD 10.2, dont flash APM, just flash vol wake key. Then after flash, install xposed and modaco toolkit to enable APM, then both can work nicely.

So if I have alrdy rooted, is it advisable to s-off?

For me I will still continue S-Off.

Only S-Off will guarantee you a confirmed permanent root.

i dont know, just check mine one still there.

the equalizer problem is not really my own phone problem. seems like HTC ONE only can't play that part, even one X also can play that part flawlessly. sweat.gif

hopefully they fix in new update for the beats equalizer.

checked the XDA forum seems they got similar problem i guess.

if you just want to root, no need to S-OFF.
if you want to flash rom, then S-OFF is more better, because with S-OFF you can directly flash the kernel while flashing rom, and with S-OFF, you can return to locked + s-on status in future for warranty claim purpose.

i just bought a 32gb silver yesterday, never gone thru htcDev to unlock, direct S-OFF, because i can try lot of rom, include the latest android that google going to release for google htc one.

btw, min have the gap issues, should i go claim the warranty? because i afraid will end up getting a refurbish unit later...

Wrong. With the HTC One, you don't need to S-Off to flash kernel from ROM through recovery. Unlocked bootloader for the One can do that as well, no fastboot needed. S-Off advantage for the One is only to get the LOCKED status back.
