I am only 5'5" and I am a small build guy. I already find the HTC One ( and S4)  is too small . I am using now the Pantech Vegra 6 ( 5.9 inch display as my main phone ) and has also order the 6.1" display HuaWei Mate ( expect to get it 7 Jun). I can never go back to smaller display phones. I take these phones out only when I go out for my exercise

Samsung is a lot easier to flash than HTC or Sony. Check out Note 1 thread.

Launcher change doesn't need root. What have you been reading?

Note 1 thread is alive but slow. The XDA ROM threads are very much alive though. So many to choose from.

Still, it's at v26 and moving.

The people in Note 1 thread are pretty helpful.

At settings/display you can set font size
Many apps allow you to set font sizes too. Just need to explore their options
Eg my favorite browser boat I can adjust font size up to 200-300% depend on standard font size already chose. Most eBook apps allow to adjust font too. Use friendcaster instead Facebook ad u can increase font size too.

Rooting Samsung is darn easy n if I rate it a 10 as easiest the HTC will score a 2
Unroot n revert to stock n hide such activities also easy

Your phone had problem than

I always adjust volume way above htc limit n has never experienced vol going down. My longest is watching a musical 3 hours
That is why I say is your phone problem

just try with one youtube with beats on, after 0:06~0:07 still same volume...

but if beats off after few second will volume down

the only MAIN point that you should go for S4 is removable battery, Removable storage (which you can ignore if ur willing to use OTG USB storage) and also higher megapixel (which you can ignore if you don't do zooming work like taking pics of documents, etc.) The REST is all towards the advantage of HO... Main killer... IT"S DESIGN! this HO is on par or even better than iPhone 4/4s/5. This HO deserves a spot in the modern art gallery! everything about the design just accentuates quality, premium & solid feel... The Super LCD is certainly one of the most accurately represented colours that you can get on a screen (AMOLED doesn't reproduce accurate colours) &  BOOMSOUND! Certainly by far the BEST sound quality speaker that you can find in a smartphone ever! Contradicting to S4 more superior tech spec, it's actually laggy on some situations where too much bloatware makes the s4 feels abit sluggish compared to the HTC One. Camera on the HO feels much snappier and faster compared tos4 due to the lower MP and also dedicated Image Sense for processing on the HO. Plus...If you use headphones alot, HTC One headphone jack has a build in amplifier to produce a more powerful, cleaner & crispier sound. Hope that helps in making your decision 

Yesterday went to LOWYAT, fix my HTC Desire HD, but the screen a bit yellowish, SIGH , cant be help it's cheap MYR170 to fix screen and volume button. At the free time, I walk several corner and ask for HTC One demo, LMAO, there is no DEMO! Not even one I can see,zzzz

Dun understand why Samsung can have so many spots for their phones demo, but HTC no construct demo base for better customer experience  , no point I can test only when I bought it ZZZ

any screen protector that you guys recommend?
i prefer anti fingerprint and glossy.

The website says "crystallized up to 9H abrasion resistant".

Goorilla Glass is about 6-7, SPigen Glas.t is about 7-8, I find it highly unlikely that this is 9H o.O  That means only diamonds (10H) can scratch that screen protector.  Seems like...fake   And it doesn't actually say it's oleophobic.  Want to get the Glas.t but the dude who bought it here on this thread not replying to this thread anymore

Found a possible saftey glitch for HTC One.

I rubbed my kuku against the htc one screen while in lockscreen mode all over the glass area, and after just a few seconds of rubbing my kuku tio zapped. Light current, but shocking nonetheless.

Then I tried the same with another HTC one (mine was 64, and the other is 32gb), same thing, kuku head tio zapped by light current.

Happens only to kuku, other body parts are fine.

All bros intending to rub your kuku against your htc one please beware.

Tomorrow going to HTC service centre to demo and show them how kenna zapped.

guy do u think the current htc one will get a nexus edition update 4.3 ..
