just bought RM6k items, the shop told me can maybank installment, but i have to call in...I am wondering how? what should I say? is it EzyPay or EzyPay plus? whats the diff sad.gif

For EzyPay it's interest free and for EzyPay Plus there is a 3% interest charge. For EzyPay the shop will have to do it for u at that very moment that u're paying while EzyPay Plus u call in to Maybank after the transaction has been done.

i believe (correct me if i'm wrong)...

if it's 0% interest, the shop can do it for you, as it's some sort of agreement between merchant and bank.
however, if the merchant ask you to call the bank instead, they are actually referring to the service that the bank provided, which of coz involves some fee (interest on the amount)..

i just went furniture shopping for the past 2 weeks and fed up when the merchants ask me to call the bank for the installment.

i only want it if it's 0% tongue.gif

try not to let the bank cut/cancel your card as you wil not be able to use the card anymore. future application of credit card/loan will be extremely tough as well.

Hi guys, we all know that our Maybankard 2 AMEX earns us unlimited 5X Treats Points (approximately 2.5% cash back in terms of cash vouchers) PLUS 5% cash back on weekends.

However, if you were to convert your Treats Points to Enrich Miles, your returns can increase much much more into the 2 digits range thumbup.gif smile.gif

Click here to read my latest article titled My Son Is Going To The USA on Business Class Again. In this article I will show you how you can "earn" xx% returns with the MBB 2 AMEX.

Good sharing sir!!

i've just found out that the TP conversion to Enrich miles is very rewarding

Example MAS return flight to maldive is RM1800+, For returned trip the Miles required is 25,500

7000TP = 1000 Miles

For 25,500 Miles = 178,500 TP required

Based on general conversion to voucher and on the spot redemption, 200TP = RM1

178,500 TP = RM 892.50 only

My statement refresh on every 8th of the month.

I should have done my shopping after 8th, so that I get to pay only by next month, aiyak.

What I know is the airport tax and other charges are not payable by points. Is the 25,500 miles including all those charges in your example?
