They've had to clear out those old stock first..maybe.Then they'll drop down those Haswell's pricey tag..

And yeah,me actually waiting for Z87X-UD4H too..those gigabyte now seems matured this time..no ugly looks.

Anyway,anyone want haswell setup? brows.gif
*
Haven't look through the specs of mobo of haswell, quite a headache to spend time compare them again doh.gif .
Haswell setup not so soon for me, I will observe awhile first to see how it goes.
Now saving budget for making Raid setup, thinking to make raid5 but budget not enough and having some problems that I'm not sure.

Lets say currently I have a 2TB seagate HDD with 1.2TB files inside, if i use this HDD to raid5 with other 2 HDD it will erase the files that currently store in it right?
I'm sure raid 0&1 will erase, but cant find a confirmation regarding raid5.

Raid0 will erase all but not raid1 IINM.. hmm.gif

Haven't done any raid setup before.I just can't take the risk..
*
raid 1 will too.

raid0 is only good for performance and storage optimized, but 0 tolerance on failure.
raid1 is no performance increase, but setup requirement is simple and easier. Expensive for large array.

both setup do erase the contents on existing drives that are selected.

only left a doubt on raid5, that im afraid it will erase contents on existing drive too.
Due to budget constraint i cant get new 3x 3tb drive for raid5 yet, only have budget for 2 and i have existing 2tb drive as main storage&backup.

Reading on net mostly only describe the behavior and functions of raid setup instead of details about real implementation.

home enough already.

also the ram 4gb vs 8gb what difference?

As for the case, anyone know where can buy CM N200?!?!
*
spec are refined as above, sorry i miss look on the price list by copy paste without realize.
ram 4gb is sufficient for most applications, you can opt for 8gb too.
N200 seems like a new model, not sure local distributor have it ready or not.

the N200 looks quite like the bang for the buck.
i know singapore stores have but a bit mafan to get it back.
*
Yup it looks not bad for that price point, but carry a casing back is quite hard through airport lol.

QUOTE(AaronFPS @ Jun 2 2013, 07:03 PM)
will fsp hexa 500w be sufficient?

what about this?
I5 3470 559
ASROCK B75M-DGS 199
CORSAIR value 8GB PC1600 198
SAPPHIRE 7870 XT 779
WD Blue 1TB 194
FSP HEXA 500w 149
LG DVD-RW 24X 59
CM K280 Casing 129 or Xigmatek Asgard Pro 150
Total= 2266/2287
*
FSP Hexa 500W is sufficient too, but I still recommend a psu that is slightly more than just enough to ensure after yeas of degrade it still can handle your rig without another replacement [maybe].

hi is haswell i5 4570 is use to compete against i5 3570 ? or i5 4670 ? because i just look up some result from the internet, stated i5 3570 is better in terms of overall performance than 4570, and i notice 4570 only run 3.2 Ghz
*
The performance from ivy to haswell isnt that much, however power consumption does improved.
4570 is a good choice for someone that need a good cpu for working purpose without gaming much.

Mobo doesn't affect performance much, msi or gigabyte just different brand. The spec suggested are overclocking ready, and its a small form factor build.

That mobo won't allow u to do further overclocking on your processor. Change to a Z87 mobo if u plan to OC, else picking non-K variant processor will be fine for budget saving.
You can also consider thermaltake water 2.0 extreme that outperforms corsair h100i with cheaper price.

You might need to consider on Swiftech H220 for AIO water-cooling, try googling it and you will found good reviews about it.
*
What I heard from CT is Swiftech H220 havent arrive MY yet, pretty bad since the demands are here for quite some time already. Mostly off to other prodcuts due to long wait.
