Where can i get Silverstone SG09 at Kuching? Any recommendation? 10Q
*
I don't think Kuching shops carry any Silverstone casing since I didn't saw them showing on racks. You can either try back-to-back order through local shop(s) or buy directly from online-dealers/resellers.

I was under the impression that for gaming, the bulk of the processing is done by the GPU. So i wonder if i can cut cost by using very expensive GPU but with mid range CPU like i3.
*
Not very advisable, we normally suggest something that is built in balance between cpu & gpu to avoid bottlenecking issue.

Please advise me on PSU and MOBO that is enough to cope with SLI 650ti-Boost.Thanks!
*
A true power 650W psu is capable.
Mobo depends on your processor, for intel ivy/haswell a mobo that allow sli/cfx at 8x8x mode cost around RM450~5XX.

It looks good overall, if u haven't have any gtx 650 ti boost on hand, try consider a strong single gpu setup instead for less hassle.

would either one of these 6770,6850,6870 or 6950 do okay for L4D2 and League of legends? If I remember i had a laptop with 4570M which could play LOL on medium so i'd expect 2 generations up and on desktop it'd be able to play it smoothly.
*
6850,6870 or 6950 are ok for LoL and L4D2, 6770 might just similar to 7750.
Do note that 6850, 6790 onward are better performance and more power hunger than 7750&7770, so a better power supply is recommended.

Hello sifus, I am planning to build my rigs for movie watching, web surfing and some gaming (Civilization 5 and a little bit of Sims). Budget is around 2-2.5k, no monitor needed. Don't need see thru or fancy case with lots of lights.

Given that Civilization is quite CPU intensive, I would like to go for i7-4770 instead of i5 (I know it doesn't benefit from i7 now but since i'm going to use it for years, i think civ 6 might be able to reap the extra power of i7 when it's launch in 2015). As for hdd, i need at least 1TB but i don't mind having a 2 or 3TB if there are any good one. Don't need SSD but can i have at least 8gb of ddr3 1600mhz ram. For GPU, i think i'd go for gtx 660 or hd7850. I found some reviews here, can u guys tell me which one is more suitable for Civ 5. Here are the link

Is HAF X a good casing? i have a look at it at a computer shop today and it's as big as a workstation. What's the advantage of this casing to justify such a huge size.
*
It is a solid casing, but due to the size it is heavy indeed.
The advantage is it allow a lot components to accommodate inside.

*
Haswell is 1150 socket, so indeed u need the different chipset of mobo that allow it to fit.
The cheapest might be Asrock B85M Pro4 that cost around RM2XX to RM300 if not mistaken, which have the hdmi port u need.
