[Purpose] leisure gaming. eg: COD in low resolution

[Hardware that will be reuse from old rig] Monitor (other parts im not too sure as i dono watz the problem with my old cpu)

[Game or software that use frequently] COD or battlefield 3 at most (low resolution)

[Personal Preference Brand] Non

[Location] KL

P.s : I know you all is gonna hate me for playing with low resolution.

I was under the impression that for gaming, the bulk of the processing is done by the GPU. So i wonder if i can cut cost by using very expensive GPU but with mid range CPU like i3.

Please advise me on PSU and MOBO that is enough to cope with SLI 650ti-Boost.Thanks!

Just need PC already have monitor and other stuff. My preference is RED CAMP! xD

would either one of these 6770,6850,6870 or 6950 do okay for L4D2 and League of legends? If I remember i had a laptop with 4570M which could play LOL on medium so i'd expect 2 generations up and on desktop it'd be able to play it smoothly.

Hello sifus, I am planning to build my rigs for movie watching, web surfing and some gaming (Civilization 5 and a little bit of Sims). Budget is around 2-2.5k, no monitor needed. Don't need see thru or fancy case with lots of lights.

Given that Civilization is quite CPU intensive, I would like to go for i7-4770 instead of i5 (I know it doesn't benefit from i7 now but since i'm going to use it for years, i think civ 6 might be able to reap the extra power of i7 when it's launch in 2015). As for hdd, i need at least 1TB but i don't mind having a 2 or 3TB if there are any good one. Don't need SSD but can i have at least 8gb of ddr3 1600mhz ram. For GPU, i think i'd go for gtx 660 or hd7850. I found some reviews here, can u guys tell me which one is more suitable for Civ 5. Here are the link

Is HAF X a good casing? i have a look at it at a computer shop today and it's as big as a workstation. What's the advantage of this casing to justify such a huge size.
