My yellow Camera Grip arrived last week. Now combined, the whole thing looks like a toy.

Just to point out, if using the speaker with the grip on, audio reception is not affected coz there's a tiny gap between the phone and right side of the grip that channels sound to the front.

in fact it sounds louder too. No need to cup the speaker with your hand.

Impossible. Will be at least RM 2299.00
But then, unless they bundled with extra free gift like camera grip or wireless charging car holder, I will hold until Christmas cos by then there should be little price adjustment or extra bundled stuff for the Christmas event while waiting to see the news for upcoming Lumia with next gen chasis.

As of now, as much as I love L1020, L920 still serve me wonderfully smile.gif

Yea..Agreed with you..i might wait until price drop below RM2k < definitely will grab 1020 back smile.gif

Hmmm ... if I remember correctly, when L920 and L820 launched, the units weren't immediately available, hence no bundles. Then handsets were only available weeks after that and I was the first to queue in Gardens Nokia and purchased 2 units. They gave me 2 pendrives (one broken btw) and two umbrellas.

I will be heading to KL later tonight.
My sister ask me to help her get the L925 with current 16% Discount.

Hence, I am thinking to get it at The Curve Nokia Store.
The nearest Nokia Store I could reach, as I will be around IKANO in afternoon.

Do you or others happen to know whether there is Card Surcharge during Purchase?

what we know so far for price war, that note 3, sony Z1, iphone 5s and lumia 1020 possible will be around rm2200-rm2500. As for note 3 price is confirm at rm2288 with a lot of freebies.

So, as the price is above 2k, i expect some freebies will be thrown out from nokia and telco itself to compete with android and apple fan base that are definitely strong in this region. it is possible, like any other electronic consumer products, we might see a price change near the Christmas holiday whistling.gif

nokia 1020 and n808 pureview were never really meant for click and shoot, and set in auto mode wink.gif

i was referring to lumia series, iphones 5s/5c will be releasing this month, right?..however, as such apple products will near impossible for a price drop. you has to wait for a long time for iphone price drop tongue.gif ..the apple fan base, its like a whole different dimension rclxub.gif ..for a price drop, usually it will be the lumia and the android device.

I think lumia will slash by 15% of coz it will also depend on whether they have new releases or not

probably a 16% price drop for limited time, is just a hype to let people have interest to buy before 16th.. as experience tell, lumia will certainly be on a price drop, whether they give discount or not whistling.gif

Good to hear that.
I would feel awkward to charge Customer with Card surcharge, shall Nokia Official Store practiced this.

Really illegal kah?

Yes, merchant is supposed to bear the cost of financing (credit card), which is 2% for Visa / Master and 3% for Amex. Most banks would waive the financing charge when merchant exceeds 30k or more.

That's why you will never see an additional 2% or 3% charge in your receipt. They will always "add-on" to your item price. Such practice, while still common, is very much illegal and you have the right to sue. But it's going to be a long battle, not worth the hassle.
