i really don't understand why so care about the pricing during launch

ok, let say u consider lumia 1020 with GN3, Z1, iphone 5s and let say the price for lumia 1020 is RM1899 which i think the lowest it can go during launch. I don't think u so stupid that it will lower until less than RM1500....

just for 200-300 different with GN3, Z1, iPhone 5s... will make u buy lumia 1020? Since u almost spend almost rm2k for phone...i don't think that why u cannot top up another 200-300 to get the phone u like....

I expecting this phone price at 2299

so far only Storekini.com knows the actual price and the mysterious gift, top it up they are exclusive too and you get the phone at first hand.

All other retailers won't get it, even Nokia store, only you get it first, kind of like a VIP service and you can't expect the price to be just RM2.3k

so thats why alot of ppl care. Even me if its above 2K i wont even buy.

I have all nokia best camera phones but its always a 2nd phone. With my Note 2 even now it stays as the first phone.

The CEO of nokia stephen dont even know the future of nokia and microsoft.

At least Samsung,Sony and Iphone the future is clearer we have more to expect but Nokia we only worry what model will replace that cause the price to drop.

If you imagine a Samsung Galaxy Note series with Nokia Carl Zeiss 41MP even 2.5k people will buy no need to consider you have the best experience and also the best camera.

Yup, will wait for price drop and 1520 announcement and decide then. Nokia took me for a ride twice already (N8 and 808), so i can wait just a little longer.

xSean Again, it's about perceived value. Many here don't think the 1020 is worth more than RM2k. For me personally, i think it should be priced RM1899 max. Or RM1799 if Nokia wants to gain more adopters.

Maybe Nokia is thinking :"hey, it's a niche product anyway, so we can't count on volume sales/fight against Samseng/Apple in this country. So let's charge the fans more so we can make more money rather than selling it cheaply. might as well."
