occasionally or everytime?

Forward so far so good.
Only in reverse intermittently. The brakes gets hard to step on and the car won't stop.

At first they suspected it was ABS but no solution, that was 2 months ago.

Recently I've sent it back, apparently they think it is the brake hose now. Let's see how it goes.
So annoyed cos they wanted to charge me because my warranty was just recently over a month ago.

Cable I think I will still believe. Brake hose is the line that transfer brake oil to brakes for the brake to work right? If that is not working/ bloated/ punctured, it will affect the forward also.

So please let us know what or how they fix this for you. Update us will you?

Err..brake cable and brake hoses perform different functions, though they are in the same system (vehicle brake system).
Also, I believe modern cars doesn't utilize brake cables anymore

Like brake pedal feel (during and before engaging Reverse)?
Abnormal sound, etc.?

EDIT: It should be ABS or Electronic sensor problem.

Read from newspaper several weeks ago, statement from NazaKia top management, got about 20k++ Forte on the road now (Malaysia). Consider that as a rare breed? I believe so

divide by 10 daerah (johor) = 142
divide by area (JB/JB tengah/ PG) = 47
divide by 17 taman perumahan = 2

no wonder i'm the only forte owner in my taman....

The rare breed is one factor, another rare thing is our cheap but high specs car

The new Cerato is better specced, but it comes with a much higher price tag that makes it a bit less value for money as compared to our Forte

In my taman perumahan I have spotted 6 Fortes which I know the house location. There are more of those that I have seen around the taman but do not know where they live.

Ya. Did some calculation with whole set rim + GY Assy 2 tyres. After trade in rim and tyre need to top up 2.2k. Big money wei.

no need UHP tyre la bro...its not like everyday u speed 200...
go for cheaper + bit noisier GY D5..

I would go for cheaper tyres since we dun speed all the time on Msian roads....ESPECIALLY on MALAYSIANS ROADS!

I easily see 2 other forte just my front row in parking lot, one red one bright silver, while mine is titanium silver
