QUOTE(lingleeyen @ May 16 2013, 05:57 PM) Boss ah boss, if you are talking about the VG shark fin, yes, it comes with 3M as claimed in the website. I have not used this before so I do not have any shark fin antenna flew off from my car's roof yet. I am no seller, but from my research this antenna can be removed. This means that this is not permanent, but there is one over sea user (Prius driver) who claimed that his fingers got blue black when he tried to remove it. So I guess it will not fly off...GUA...Don't shoot me if it flew off. Just press all angle for one minute each if kiasi. hey broPlease do research also before you confirm to buy. I do not want all of you point fingers at me because I believe what I have read, and I said so. Results might be different. I am baring the reasonable risk for myself and I shall not be accounted for, if things are not up to your expectation. I am just responsible to make sure I book the correct colour you requested, send out to you. If you google VG, Prius is using, Chevy is using, Mazda is using, some jeep is using. I AM NO SELLER. sorry if i asked a silly question i actually deleted my question for the first time. i googled this 3m adhesive but din get the answer n thats y i ask since many forumers claimed that 3M sticker is strong enough, i think this 1 is good enough. dun pissed off har |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ May 31 2013, 03:10 PM) Haha. I am a reasonable man. Even if you do not study economics, it is known that investing extra money on a car is a dumb move. Lets just say it this way. Car is not an investment. It is hobby for those who loves the car and got poisoned too deep to mod to whatever they can think of. It is a hobby. So it is not a dumb move. After you mod, you get a safer car, you get a more comfy car, you get a car that you will want to stare at all the while, the feel good effect. This is the thing money can't really buy. So mod reasonably. Don't la mod until you have no money to buy milk for your baby. bro, mind to share the reason why dun install front n rear buffer together and all the prices of u mod? My mod in mind for now almost finish. In 2 months time already want to stop. All I have done is to increase safety and comfort in the car. Should be enough for now. Just wait for a while more before I get bored and want to do extra again. The list of mod done for now:- 1) Standard Spore Bodykit - FOC by SA 2) Undercarriage Foam - Chasis Foam by Icecube 3) Full boot noise treatment - Icecube 4) Stiff ring - Speed Mod Motor 5) Rear spring cushion buffer - Speed Mod Motor 6) Orsen skid plate - Speed Mod Motor Accessories ordered:- 1) Forte interior deco non slip mat - eBay (underway) 2) Forte special tire valve cap - eBay (underway) 3) Euro number plate - Sh@rty (underway) 4) VG Sharkfin - VG Corp (underway) KIV mod in numerical order:- 1) Rubber Strips on door - DIY?? 2) Front spring cushion buffer - Speed Mod Motor 3) Floor noise treatment - Icecube 4) Change tire - Klang 5) Fender Noise treatment if necessary- Icecube 6) Front and Rear Ultra Bar (yet to study the type and application) A*s itchy mod:- 1) Potent Booster 2) Light weight crank case pulley 3) Rims Must change when time comes:- 1) Denso Iridium spark plugs 2) KNN Filter and is the euro plate considered illegal in msia? |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ May 31 2013, 04:23 PM) I actually was there with the intention to install only the Orsen skid. However, 1 hour before I go there I came accross the cushion buffer by other sellers. So I asked for syok la, see if they have. bro, understood and very good explanation They have it with a price double what other seller is selling. So I curiously went there to check out the quality. It is indeed different. Not those powdery rubbery quality (I have not come accross what other seller in LYN is selling, I have just touched another pair my friend bought for DIY). So poisoned la. I want to install all 4. When I was talking to the boss, I mentioned about wanting better comfort, lesser vibration and better noise when going through uneven roads and small potholes (nothing can save you from big potholes), he poisoned me again. Introducing the stiff ring. Stiff ring's effect is immediate. You can see my review on stiff ring in previous post. My comment on their service is available in the below link. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2746260&hl= I have never installed a stiff ring or cushion buffer before. My intention is to treat the soft rear suspension first and see the effect. I will also want to see how the stiff ring is working for me. If I install all once at a go, I will not be able to differentiate. I might not need to add the front cushion buffer. Let me drive for another week to see how it goes. Mod price I will PM. I somehow negotiated best price so it is better if yoyu can PM the owner individually. Euro plate illegal. The one I do is with approved font size (height & width), approved colour (black back, white words & alphabets), illegal spacing (no & no 7mm, no & words 20mm), illegal font type (euro font, but my plate no is not that obvious), illegal stickers (the euro stars sticker with D). Don't dare to go black back, grey words. If go to high risk area just slot a sticker to cover the bintangs la. Not so obvious ma. |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Jun 3 2013, 12:20 PM) From the rear, we will be able to see if the rubber is still in good condition. The R-bach has silicone content. Right now the rear is working fine for me. But installing at the rear only don't give you the feel of the rubber. Need to install at front too to see if it works in absorbing road vibration. yes, JNS is SC in penang island. The one in JNS is sold by SC? |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Jun 10 2013, 08:35 AM) Has any one use Voltage Stabilier on their car? i didWhat is the effect after installing? I know nuts about electrical so I am not so sure If I should mess with it. Those who have installed, please share some insight with me. initially i only install grounding cable because the seller selling full copper gc ( can only use naked eyes to justified n it really looks like full copper la) during installation, i itchy itchy n install together with the vs my fren install both vs n gc from the same seller. he told me he feels brighter light, cooler aircond n his batt last till more than 2.5 yrs (maybe due to he always drive on hiway, always recharge) to me, i din see brighter light (maybe too old, eyes not sharp), i cant feel cooler aircond (maybe too thick skin n fats), cant judge on batt yet (only 1 yr old). anyway, i did feel more responsive (quite significant), rev faster (slightly), no fuel saving. after all, it is very subjective coz all these are feeling only |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Jun 10 2013, 02:30 PM) I have not done much research too. I just came across ghis sales thread and selling the VS alone, thread goes as much as 132 pages. There is no bad review at all from his customer. So this one cannot be a fake. another seller. i think he started and eric explained larI will want to try this out, but not sure if there is any instant effect on new car. In long term wise, this might help, so I will need to judge. Another war? With who? |
