anyone knows if there are there any Asus authorized shops in JB that is selling Nexus 7 LTE? After reading about the multitouch issue, think better to buy in person and test out the tablet before leaving the shop...

the memory card considered dispensable as nexus don have external storage slot. So utterly useless. Why not SenQ, you only pay RM1299 + RM12 for 2 years warranty? On top of that if your maybank card treats point got 250,000. then you only require to pay RM299 + RM12.

Finally got my first tablet from SenQ. Still in the midst of molesting it.

My PC cannot recognize my Nexus 7 in MTP mode with USB debugging ON. I got tired of having to disable USB debugging to get the MTP device recognized. Any fix on this? PTP work well but cannot access to all file folders...

why you need the USB debugging to be always on? I thought it is only for some adb thingy and maybe titanium backup, which i think not being used in a daily basis? Normally i dun enable it unless needed.

nexus 7 support compass? can recommend a good one if yes?

I never have such issues with my WinXP desktop, ex Asus Win7 netbook and current Win *8 Vaio Pro. I need not even to have to set this MTP, PTP stuffs - the N7 is auto detect and I can manage its files from the computer. And my USB Degugging is by default always ON. I suggest you reinstall your USB drivers - I did it using the PDANet option in Nexus toolkit

I'm deciding between Nexus 7 2 LTE or the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 LTE. I like the voice function on Tab 3 and also the larger screen. But I like the pure android, latest updates and higher spec on Nexus 7. How?

Yeah, you are right..this is a nexus 7 thread. If it is tab 3 8.0 thread, they will say tab 3.
Surprisingly, I can't find a tab 3 8.0 official thread yet.

Voice call is good to have as I only have a single sim with data plan. I can receive voice calls on tab 3 without fwd to my other phone. Although it looks weird talking on an 8" tablet unless you use speaker mode or blue-tooth set.

You can get another sim to share your plan...umobile and maxis (if not mistaken) can request for another sim for same number to share your data plan.

Seem you have answered your own question. If calling with a 8" looks silly, go for two gadgets.. one for calls, other for browsing, work, play etc..
