I think most likely they are going to delay KVMRT2 system, as what we expected all the while.....In fact, MRT Corp has been scheduled to be announced some details of KVMRT 2 and government expected to give the green light by end of the year of 2013, but now come to Feb 2014, so far there is no any news or feedback on this.....looks like they are struggling to get the funding. For sure, KVMRT2 definitely will be delayed, as since when any government project will be completed on time, despite of escalating cost from their initial project value.

if they want make sure then construction cost is feasible, the current construction team continues from line 1 to line 2, if separate too long time, the those people / equipment will go here and there and no continuity between lines

if land acquisition / legal things take time 1-2 years (if similar to line 1), so current kvmrt no yet complete, line 2 should be announce...

but meresia anything can happen... this is meresia ma... sabar la...

This is very strange as it stop for not connecting KLIA track which will link to KLIA. I dont think this will be the final coz the cost of not linking to KLIA is too much to risk... Especially with KLIA2>> Surely this cannot be miss

KLIA and KLIA2 is already connected to an Airport Rail called ERL.

There shouldn't be duplicating route. In future, the KTM in Nilai will connect the southern part to KLIA.

Actually there is a link between the MRT station @ precint 14 to Putrajaya sentral. That plan have been approved long time ago since Tun Mahathir and it is under Putrajaya Corporation. Some of the track and under ground station have been constructed. Just to Share

Agree on this, don't think there will be a duplicate to KLIA. At best, the public can argue to extend the line from Putrajaya to Cyberjaya, but nothing more than that. At this point in time, Cyberjaya can't be justified due to it's extremely low population. My take is MRT 2 will go ahead as planned with bus services heading towards Cyberjaya.

My hope is Putrajaya Monorai tweaked into extension for this MRT. Secondly, the Serdang branch should go all the way to Equine Park and finally reaching Limkokwing Cyberjaya.

What about areas around Shah Alam - Puncak Alam, Alam Budiman, and also Setia Alam?

nothing had been casted in the stone. it can be extended to cbj when the population can justify the viability. sgp does that. they are extending their mrt in every few years.

I would think this will be the ideal arrangement as the last station stopping at Putrajaya make little sense to round up the whole connectivity.
