nothing had been casted in the stone. it can be extended to cbj when the population can justify the viability. sgp does that. they are extending their mrt in every few years.
*
it is not only for CBJ but connecting KLIA via Putrajaya Sentral station which will integrate with Putrajaya Monorail (if take off), ERL. This actually creating another hub in CBJ / Putrajaya. This make people movement to these area to be quicken in view of most embassies and Government offices in Prj anyway.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 (Bernama) -- Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) says the MRT second line has been approved by the Federal government.

Chief Excutive Officer Datuk Wira Azhar Abdul Hamid said the company is waiting for the official announcement to enable it to begin work on the MRT Line 2, which will probably link Sungai Buloh with Putrajaya.

"The second line has been discussed by the government. So now the government is considering when the project can start," he told reporters after a visit by Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan to the Kajang MRT construction site near here Saturday.

"This is a good sign, because now we have continuity in the provision of transportation services to the public and its contribution to the economy," he said.

Azhar said construction of the underground section of the MRT Line 1, scheduled for completion in July 2017, is now 50 per cent completed.

"Basic construction work for the overall project is expected to be ready in the middle of 2015, and will be followed by upgrading works on the operations system," he said.

He also expressed satisfaction with the project's progress, saying putting safety measures in place will continue to be a priority, especially when they affect the public and workers.

nice...presint 14 is understandable due to its vicinity to alamanda, presint diplomatik and also near to KLIUC and Uniten.
