Played a little bit of this last night. The game was "Early Access" before, and is a full game now. Still buggy, with the game losing focus every time when launches, and needed to be clicked back into focus once launched, using a mouse before back into VR. Weird.
The game is much more beautiful and hugely more intense now that it sports Unreal Engine 4.
Cant take much of this game when you ran out of ammo, all you have is your blade and close encounter zombie slash is.........disconcerting.
old stuff I think this sliding 1 is not so natural compared to another 1 with real walking 1 called Virtuix Omni but after so many years it seems like they are not shipping yet

From the get go, I still think HTC Vive is a better option until Oculus Rift comes out with the Oculus Rift based on my reading.
Had a go at Nvidia's VR Funhouse. In settings, to run high, you need TWO GTX1080 in SLI? Seriously? The VR experience is pretty, with lots of physics and their Gameworks and VRWorks examples thrown in, but two 1080s? The setting suggests "Medium" for a single 1080, but I ran mine High irregardless and seen no ne of the dreaded 45fps reprojections.
Favorite game in that experience? Cannon Skeet. Once the targets starts flying, you'd feel like Marty McFly from BTTF3.
half an hour into the game, and I already have to change my clothes, drenched in sweat! I flailed, I maimed, and I headshot-reflect-laser-back.
Holy shit, what a workout! At freaking 4am! I made the mistake of picking "Saija" instead of "Bishop" so I was stuck with using only a katana, and no guns. Bishop is the gun cleric, Saija is essentially Gray Fox of Metal Gear Solid. And after the 6th wave, I collapsed in a heap of wet clothes and tiredness.

Sold it off for a very good price on the 980ti, RM2300 for reference 980ti, and that's waaaay before the selling frenzy before the 10 series dropped. And now with Async Compute, seems like I made the right decision, despite what I said earlier.
The gun-kata guy, Bishop is much easier than Saija, your MGS "Gray Fox" ninja.
The feeling of presence in this game is palpable, especially when the enemies are swarming you and you desperately trying to escape their clutches. You hide behind counter, walls, towers, dodge lasers, and warp away.
Just started unlocking power-ups in the game, including single charged shot, and bullet-storm.
Also supports online multiplayer, although I'd hate if it I have to be Saija, and not Bishop.
