It'll pick up eventually, just like the DK1.

QUOTE(881118 @ Aug 17 2014, 03:13 PM) for those who bought or buying oculus rift DK2 Yup I'm one of the earliest backer. Shipping here is a killer though. you may want to consider this omni-direction "treadmill" https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/125951...ual-reality-gam This post has been edited by MK84: Aug 17 2014, 06:03 PM |

Omni ships from China IIRC. Virtualizer ships from Austria.
Both has it's pro and cons. IMHO neither one of them is better than the other. It really depends on what you want to use it for. I backed the Virtualizer instead of the Omni mainly because it doesn't require you to wear specialised shoes to use it. |

QUOTE(kayent @ Dec 5 2014, 10:18 PM) guys...im planning to get a DK2 just for shitz & giggles (testing). 1) Tax is 10%, shipping usually about a week from the date it ships. For Malaysia, they ship from Hong Kongjust a few questions: 1) How much are the taxes & how long does shipping take to reach here? I heard somewhere that they only release it in batches?hx 2) Does the eyepiece support someone wearing glasses (~3xx degree) 3) Is there a local community or fb group on the oculus rift in Malaysia? 2) Depends on glasses. Some glasses can be too wide to fit inside. They give you 2 set of lenses. 1 is for near-sighted use. 3) Tis I not sure. I'm on the UK FB group. |

The beauty of VR gaming. You don't need a full simpit, only the necessary controls.
