I bought a Google cardboard from China, and the vision feels narrow. Never try an actual real oculus or vive, how was them in comparison?

QUOTE Field of views of 60 to 80 degrees were common. By comparison, the Samsung Gear VR, the current top end of the mobile-based headsets, has a field of view of 96 degrees, and the tethered headsets (Vive and Rift) come in at around 110 degrees. |

Razer's OSVR has no motion controller. Unless developers adopt Razer Hydra as a controller, you're stuck with the option of using a standard gamepad to move around instead.

You mean this?
![]() ![]() ![]() Buy online. No stores here stocks this readily, since they only stock items that can easily sell, or in demand. I'm sure I'm not the only Vive owner in Malaysia, but the users I saw online are shy on their presence locally.I even challenged them on "Audioshield", but they didnt respond back when asked. |

That's about right. Shipping does cost more because the box is huge and heavy. If that markup includes shipping, then it's a good deal, otherwise, it's common for items most sought after.
You can use forwarding service like Borderlinx, ComGateWay or something similar to ship back, but the cost of shipping will be close to USD200. |

HTC had the "Enterprice" version of the Vive open for preorder at one time before locking it up, and people saw the prices for the separate controllers and other accessories. I need spare controllers in case the current one breaks, coz been hitting walls and hard objects pretty hard with it. Not to mention the headset foams as well, but I can get those from VRCovers.
