did u tried the edp version?
how much the price anyway?

Hi bro,

Yes i tried edp as well. Edp is slightly stronger than edt but not much. Edt is more transparent and light, edp is slightly more concentrated/darker.

But both does not last long. Edp on me is weaker than Chanel Eau extreme. Edt is like bodymist or a weak ADG.
In less than an hour, Both becomes skin scent, edp a stronger skin scent.

In 2-3 hours, i cant detect anything at all.

But the opening is lovely smile.gif

The price from Ken's bangsar if i remember,

Edt
50ml - rm295
100ml - rm379

Edp
50ml - rm 450

most of dyptique's scents are meant for you to use a lot. It's a marketing ploy. So just use more.

But the scents are richer and fuller compared to designer brands.

Ok, I finally managed to grab some goodies from the recent clearance sales - VCA's Midnight in Paris, MJ's Tropical Rain and a couple of Burt's Bees' body wash. Please ignore the razor and leather case.

A familiar yet reinvented interpretation, with accentuated, enhanced major notes... the Eau de Parfum expresses itself with even more personality, audacity, intensity and tenacity. Here, with Tam Dao, the star ingredient, sandalwood from Mysore, is of exceptional quality. In the EDP version, Ginger, Tahiti lime, and the coconut accord emphasize the creamy smooth facet of Mysore sandalwood, resulting in a milky, woody creamy concoction.

Here, the star ingredient, Vanilla bourbon from Madagascar, is a richer, deeper interpretation of bourbon vanilla married with a vanilla pod infusion. And to top it all off, the intensity is made more powerful with incense and amber, resulting in a sensual, rounded vanilla with animalic and leather facets.

To those who usually do splits.. May I know where did u buy the Atomizer. Not the small normal handy one. I need at least 50 ml like that. Want to do splits with friends of mine.. I tried searching but only found the smaller size ones. If I do 100ml splits. Imagine how many Atomizer I need. Huhuuuw

Tq in advance for any help

You can easily find the 50ml sprayer bottles at Watson and Guardian but it's plastic. I get my small 3ml sprayer bottles for decant from one of the sellers on Taobao. I'm sure they have bigger bottles you're looking for.

Thanks.
Using plastic Atomizer rather than the glass ones doesn't actually effect the juice right? . My over thinking paranoid side keeps thinking how the plastic could somehow melt & mix with the perfume thus spoiling it. Will go looking for it.

New fragrance purchase.
Just bought maison Francis kurkdjian aqua universalis forte. love it so much. I admit it's on the feminine side & I'm a guy (used my wife Acc here) but somehow the freshness of it seems to blend with my body chemistry so well. Felt like I'm not wearing any fragrance. Perfect skin scent that has excellent longevity with a gentleman's projection. Lasts 24 hours on me. Seriously don't mind wearing this everyday.

It's a niche house. Exquisite taste you have there. I personally would avoid storing it in plastic bottle. Unless I'm just gonna decant it for use in a short trip. I'm not sure how alcohol in perfume would react with plastic.

for volume higher than 10ml,always use glass atomiser, from my experiment, plastic atomiser will spoil the opening of the fragrance sooner.
oohhh MFK aqua universalis forte is really nice, the citrus and the floral,jasmine...nice

So my overthinking was correct about perfume in plastik decant. Will surely go look for a glass one. Now more into niche, but designer fragrance will always have their ranks in my closet Hehe. Its just a phase for me to explore the richness of the perfume ingredients. Once I thought there is no way a niche & designer fragrance are too much different than the other. But after trying out for a few, all I could say is niche perfumes truly are glorious especially how natural they smell. But some still have that designer kind of aura such as bond no 9. I'm not too fond in dropping out rm 900++ for a bond. No offense to any bond no9 fans. They are still an amazing house too explore. Too bad we have to purchase online for a larger variations of niche houses & go through the tiresome moment of waiting for the arrival. Heheh
