se535 insufficient for pandora? more like pandora is unable to satisfy se535, low quality source if pandora id the internet radio correct? low quality source from the internet

any AK or DX will suffice, SE535 is easy drive

I am searching for a wider soundstage and natural sounding ><
and most of my music files are under WAV, directly from discs

If you ask others about experience of CIEM and IEM...i would bet they will definitely stick to customs in terms of SQ biggrin.gif
I bet noobandroid tai kor would say so too biggrin.gif So if you have the budget, go customs thumbup.gif

is CIEM really worth it? JH5 vs SE535? which one is better? and SE535 vs Pandora Hope VI, which one is better?
I have a Cricri+ back in Malaysia.. and I am currently residing in Taiwan nw.. so, yea... I only have my phne and SE535 with me now..
AK100 (which one to get to drive Pandora? MK1 or MK2? ) + Pandora Hope VI?
or
JH16 / UM Miracle + Xperia Z1?

EDIT: And the main issue I forgot is that I am currently living in Taiwan! I dont know where to get my ear impressions done and who to find to help me ship them to the manufacturer to help me make my CIEM.... So yea, would love to go for headphones if possible, as I have an earphone already.. smile.gif Thanks!! biggrin.gif

There's no which one is better IMO, it all depends on your sound preference, since u said u like the pandora more than the SE535, then might as well settle with the ak100+pandora combo if portability is not a big issue for u, u can always venture into CIEM in the future when your budget allows brows.gif

CIEM will only worth it, when you need full isolation, and not going to take off the CIEM all the time, i chose the CIEM but didnt expect i will be taking the CIEM off so frequently, that a IEM seems more feasible.

SQ wise, since CIEM are normally multi BA driver, SQ will be better implemented thatn of a single dynamic driver, no matter how good it is tuned to

MK1 has 20 ohm output, while MK 2 has 3 ohm output, Hope has 8, so MK2 seems a better choice for low impedance

Unforunately you cant really compare headphones to CIEM as both are coherently different where CIEM/IEM weaknesses is still soundstaging while headphones excel in that area.

For school usage, assuming you'll be at the library place I guess both would suit your purposes but I wouldn't want to walk with Hope VI due to its weight (yes they are heavy and 100g shy off your typical planar magnetic).

From what you describe where you prefered FAD Hope VI, you seem to prefer coloured sound with some bass slam and forward mids.

There are also other brands to consdier beside A&K when it comes to portable players (they do look however) such as ibasso or hifiman (HM801 & HM901)

Haha just takes time to understand, but this link should help you understand sound frequency of instruments and vocal voices

http://www.head-fi.org/a/frequency-response-of-headphones
http://www.head-fi.org/a/describing-sound-a-glossary

Too many people often describe their headphones/speakers as neutral which is often misleading without comparing to others, so its safer to based on what you listen to draw a benchmark smile.gif
