JVC HA-S500 if you're ok with on ear, Superlux if you want over ear.
I personally own the S500 and tried one Superlux model, i think the HD 668B. Sound is alright, treble too piercing, feels very unnatural. S500 is pretty much superior in all aspects for me.

is there any closed superlux is as superior as the JVC ? Ignoring on ear or over ear smile.gif

Hello, looking for opinions on few of these headphones, all within my budget

SONY MA100 / SONY ZX100 / SONY ZX300

PHILIPS SHP1900 / PHILIPS SHP2600 / PHILIPS SHL3000

SENNHEISER 201

my criteria -> sound not heard being to far, not too piercing treble or boomy bass

Hi... I am looking for a closed headphone.. budget is abt RM2.5k
Soundplayer... um.. havent buy yet... but got a budget of RM2.5k and planned to get AK100..
I am currently eye-ing on FAD Pandora Hope VI...
Is it good to pair the 2 of them?
Or should I invest on another headphone or player??

Currently having a SE535, TF10vi and a MDR-1R...
or should I have both for AK120?

se535 is kinda insufficient to me now after I listen to Pandora ._. (I had released the demons from the box and got poisoned)
So, is AK100 a good player?? or should I invest on another player like DX50? AK120 is way off my budget except I dont buy AK100 and Pandora, then I'll have enuf moneh for it...

se535 insufficient for pandora? more like pandora is unable to satisfy se535, low quality source if pandora id the internet radio correct? low quality source from the internet

any AK or DX will suffice, SE535 is easy drive

Problem

Unless you're talking about the AK100 mk2 then yes maybe, I would avoid using the first version on low impedance BA/dynamic drivers due to 22ohm output impedance.

Bear in mind that FAD Hope VI sensitivity is very efficient and has very low impedance for a headphone so any increments in volume is likely to result in larger volume gain.

Yeah I know haha, looks like it's fixed for the newer batches though, the one I'm interested in is the limited edition one, is it good for rm300?
