Nost of the drivers you hired outside airports are illegal tour operators esp those listed in page 1 & recommended by forumers here such as wayan & etc..thus u are getting cheaper than airport. Those u get from the airports & proper agengues in Kuta should be licensed..Those drivers without shops & shouting for business outside hotels are ilegal too but melambak kat Bali..

its quite secluded but its Halal.. also u can try the Nasi Padang.. most are halal.. enjoy!

i booked my stay in tune hotel for RM 0.70/night.

amazing...

I checked the tune hotel also, but they have a lot of service charge and admin fee... add all up also about IDR75,000 (about RM26) without aircon..

only RM26? so cheap....

I just came back from Bali 2 days ago and it was great!

Some stuff to clarify about Agus and Lukman. According to Agus, they're not a company, but just normal friends helping each other in the tour guide business. Lukman finds the business (marketing/sales) and Agus is the driver (and there are other drivers linked to Lukman as well). He said Lukman does not know the logistics and will simply quote prices and itineraries which are not convenient for the drivers.

He said 900k (which was given by Lukman for 5D/4N) is not enough and apologized but still refused to bring us around to far places on the 5th day. For him to drive us to far places he quoted an extra 300k but we didnt take the offer but asked him to bring us shopping around kuta instead which he agreed. So its still a good deal considering the peak season price for one day is about 350k.

Overall i think he's a very good driver and tour guide but u definitely wont be able to shortchange or con him. He's a smart guy and can speak English pretty fluently.

P/s: if you are the type of person to get carsick easily.... pls prepare some motion sickness pills or something as he drives quite ganas and sometimes takes shortcuts in small narrow lanes (the roads are quite bad) to avoid traffic.

Gee...at RM26 u still complaining..Even at RM80 after adding the aircon, I still willing to pay!

Thats only for one person. If a standard twin room with aircon can cost you about RM80-90...But the location is very good. Very near to Hard Rock Bali...

bah.. i was cllicking clicking the tune hotel just to check and recheck. the price kept increasing. same goes to the flight airasia. price can increase rm100 in 1 hour . just the 1 flight.

I stayed in Mentari Sanur (Opposite Inna Grand Bali). Every night at about 10.55pm there will be a blackout for about 5 seconds. Not sure if this is normal across Bali or what.... seems pretty weird.

H1N1 is everywhere in the world & currently Malaysia is topping the chart in SEA...M'sia tak takut u wanna takut in Bali...Anyway there are reports of cases in Bali for sure weeks ago..just google for H1N1 bali..sure ada...
