Suprisingly someone already posted Lia Cafe sceneries picture via Pan@ramio in Google Earth. Just key in/copy & paste this coordinate to the "Search" box in Google earth:

8 46 11.95S 115 10 06.49E Alternatively just search for "Lia Cafe Jimbaran"

As from the photos above, Lia Cafe is ~2nd last stall on this seafood complex wth the famous crowded & cut-throat Ramayana located in the middle..U can see the signboard clearly from the photo I hv taken.

Then you are not alone dude. icon_rolleyes.gif

So lesson here is, if you want a nice and cheap dinner at jimbaran,

1) Go to the old jimbaran side instead of the bungalow type restaurant.
2) Order their set instead of ala carte.
3) Do not ask driver to recommend and bring you there.
4) Do Not call up the restaurant to pick up from your villa.
5) Ask for a discount.

juz came back from Bali..
for those planning to go there, 3 words for ya...
Bargain, bargain & bargain.... at least 50%. they said that's not possible but when u walk away, they said "ok deal.."..
at da volcano sightseeing place, dont take da offer if da item is in a PLASTIC BAG, that's a cheating tactic from da locals.
lastly, there are many POLO Ralph Lauren shops which sell imitation POLO stuff and are pretty expensive, do not fall 4 them since most shirts are >rm100
juz my 2k rupiah..

What do you mean imitation POLO stuff while the same things were sold in their air-port also?
And i think except working shirts that cost slightly above RM100, most of the t-shirts are below RM100.
I just know they sell it much cheaper than here in m'sia is because they are made in Indonesia.

Most of Polo Ralph Lauren's range are made in developing countries.

Polo Ralph Lauren used to make most of the polos in China, but in the past couple of seasons they have been using progressively cheaper countries. i remember them starting with South America (Bolivia and Peru mainly) and then South East Asia (Bangladesh and Indonesia).
for the most recent Australian season, there has been a noticable drop in fabric quality. probably due to the fact that they are still charging the same prices as 5 years ago.

i have heard that Polo RL uses different source countries to sell in different markets. eg. the polos sold in the US typically are made in Mexico or South America, while the polos sold in Europe & Australia are typically made in Asia.

So I guess that's why they sell cheaper in Indonesia but it doesn't mean they are fake. Their quality are ok also.

Remember guys, the one you saw everywhere around bali is POLO and its not the same with Polo Ralph Lauren. Best example is in the discovery mall. Both RL and POLO is side by side.

Polo Ralph Lauren wether its made in indo, mexico or in the states the price would not be different that much.

POLO shirt will never have any ralph lauren trade name on its shirt, the store nothing.
