Indonesia-Amerika Susun Kontrak Jual-Beli Apache

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Kementerian Pertahanan membenarkan kepastian pembelian delapan unit helikopter serang canggih AH-64-D Apache Longbow dari Amerika Serikat. Saat ini Indonesia dan Amerika Serikat sedang menyusun kontrak jual-beli helikopter ini.

"Sedang dalam pembicaraan intensif oleh kedua negara," kata Kepala Badan Sarana Pertahanan, Laksamana Muda Rachmad Lubis, saat dihubungi Tempo, Jumat, 16 Agustus 2013.

Materi pembicaraan kontrak, dia melanjutkan, antara lain harga kedelapan helikopter dan skema pembayaran. Termasuk soal pembayaran uang muka sebagai tanda jadi jual-beli.

Soal berapa biaya yang dikeluarkan pemerintah untuk membeli delapan unit Apache, Rachmad memilih bungkam. Begitu pula soal uang muka yang sudah disiapkan pemerintah. "Prinsip uang muka dibayarkan setelah kontrak berlaku efektif," kata dia.

Kemarin, Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat Jenderal Moeldoko mememastikan pembelian delapan unit helikopter Apache Longbow dari Amerika Serikat. Sesuai rencana, kedelapan helikopter akan diterima Indonesia secara bertahap mulai tahun 2018 hingga 2021.

Komisi Pertahanan DPR akhirnya merestui pembelian helikopter ini. Padahal sebelumnya, DPR bersikukuh menolak pembelian dengan alasan harga Apache yang terlalu mahal.

Wakil Komisi Pertahanan Tubagus Hasanuddin, salah satu anggota dewan yang sebelumnya menolak Apache, mengatakan parlemen akan membicarakan pengajuan anggaran ini pada rapat Rancangan Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara tahun 2014. "Harganya sekitar Rp 3,1 triliun, nanti kami alokasikan," kata dia.

longbow and not the new apache guardian?

The US is offering Indonesia the AH-64D Block III Apache Longbow. The Block III Apache Longbow was re-designated as the AH-64E Guardian. Basicly it is the same Apache helicopter.

In five years, there might be a change of government and this deal scrapped.

Malaysia when? I remember long long time ago duri g Lima 1991 we already express interest.. i think it was the rooivalk and werewolf back then.

but just an interest, the project did not go on as the evaluating team did not approve the bird

If already sign contract, if not wrong, need pay some % of contract price to product manufacture, if cancel u need lost that money. (unless like some case example delay due to manufacture problem), or find other buyer to take your order.

Dsca confirm the deal?

The deal have not been signed yet. Preparation for the contract & a down payment is being allocated & finalized. Expected in the coming weeks the deal will be signed.

Anyone have any ideas what military assets will be showcased for the 2013 Hari Kemerdekaan Malaysia, I'm still not sure whether I'll go down to KL.

I'll most probably go down if the PT91M Pendekar, Astros and AV8 will be in the parade.

judging from the theme of this year's Merdeka, which is "Tanah Tumpahnya Darahku", i could say those tanks would certainly be in the parade..especially AV8 and Pendekar..if not then most likely they would at least show the Adnans that they use in LD..and i'm guessing there would be a lot of appearances from VAT69 in the parade to remember their fallen comrades in LD..

Hopefully some confirmation of MAF assets on parade from BERNAMA.

I've been coming down for 2 years for the merdeka parade, so far no Pendekar.

Only saw it during the Malaysian army parade at Port Dickson this year.
