QUOTE(DeFaeco @ May 2 2013, 09:40 AM)
Why do we need that much MRSS when we do not have enough helicopters to use it with?

Sure, you can put troops, tanks and such but not having helicopters on MRSS kinda cripples its capabilities does it not?
*
right now TLDM is cripple with only 2 MRSS in service!

Ayam thingking the galicia class or the rotterdamn class!

QUOTE(James831 @ May 2 2013, 05:15 PM)
let put a side what class TLDM gonna buy,
what type of MRSS TLDM looking for? flat top type like MISTRAL CLASS or tanker type like BUNGA MAS 5 ?
is it above 10,000tonnes or below 10,000tonnes?
*
IINM the earlier plan is to buy similar to the Rotterdam and Galicia Class LDP with more then 100000 tonnes displacement
but since the Korean show off the Dokdo, TLDM are also thinking of procuring LHD that have more capabilities!

pembayaran dibuat secara berperingkat ketika kita order SU-30MKM itu.
pembayaran habis bila kita terima MKM yang terakhir daripada Russia.

Why the ATM doesn't choose it over the PT-91 does spark some curiosity... although I'd rather have someone in the know to explain, if the information is open for public knowledge.
*
the T90 did not even make it to the final round , only the PT91 and the T84 are in the finals
and the PT91 was chosen as winner due to parts availbility!
