Serin buyer feedback:
https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2850264/+1960 QUOTE(MakeYouHappy @ May 17 2014, 08:45 PM) Although the electricity and water were not ready upon handover (supply is there but w/o the meter reading), but they can actually bypass that upon request if there are people wanting to move in. So it wasn't a big problem for me on that issue (and electricity was ready by the end of April for all units). Quality wise, well, it is Villamas so even I myself didn't expect too much lol! The exterior and the common facilities are pretty ok although there are some minor defects found in the common areas. The workmanship for the units are pretty rough in my opinion but no major defects for most units as I heard from other owners (but quite a lot of minor ones though In a nutshell, I will stay away from Villamas from now on no matter how much below market price they are offering. I sincerely wish my next door neighbours Cristal turn out to be better. |

After 48 pages, I felt compelled to say something for the benefit of all future residents of this project. No intention to insult anyone but put facts for all future residents to have a think.
1) There are some individuals keep propping up the name of this property. A residential that you are going to call good home need not be publicized! Good neighbors esp owners is more important than the degree of publicity of the project. Unless you are the show off type, then Bangsa suit you more. Or these fellows propping are actually agents? More exposure price go up more $$? 2) FB page is great to pull the owners to form a community. Showing off too much pictures will invite unwanted guests. You know what type of guests! 3) Flipper will sure die if they bought this. The amount of HER stalling in no laughing matter. Gomen change of policy caught many whose property value RM600+ to 900+. Those around mid RM500+ is overflowing. The stocks coming in for the next 6 months will need 3 to 4 years for the market to consume and digest. A very well known KL developer friend pulled the plug on all projects for this year. They need to sit and see how goes the next 6 months. 4) Owner for own stay have nothing to worry. Downturn kills speculators, not investors and certainly not owner. 5) Yes, a bit short of good schools, shopping etc. All these will come. If this is your priorities, Klang valley suits you better. 6) There will be more new projects keep coming to Cyberjaya. If you're living in your unit, nothing to worry. Being a local, you are in best position to keep buying more! Good on you! Ok, Shoot me now. This post has been edited by flightleader: May 24 2014, 11:15 PM |

I had visited the showroom for both condo and villa. The workmanship is not bad. Well, hopefully the showroom units quality does not have a lot of different with the actual finished goods.

Cyberjaya is really a "love it or hate it" location. Time will tells, but I am on the positive side. WIth a few shopping complex under construction and will be ready by 2015 (D Pulze by end of this year), most of the infrastructure like universities & transportation are here.. As long as you are not a flipper then you are safe. Well not only in Cyberjaya, I think most of the flippers will suffer in any area within these 5 years.
Cristal by the way, as long as the workmanship is good (be it in-house contractor or not)..nothing much we will have to worry.. OK those who disagree can shoot me now XD |

QUOTE(MakeYouHappy @ Jun 10 2014, 10:47 AM) Were they renting out to students or working adults? 2.2k per month is a huge burden for an working adult, right? If I am working in Cyberjaya, I could easily get a few hundreds room in Serdang then travel daily. It would still cost me less than 1.8k per month. |

Gardenview 900++sqft fully furnished can get 3k rental. Serin is still consider cheap throughout the whole Cyberjaya. |
