why not get one from xiaomi? they are having open order now. no need to wait for tuesday sales. I have Pineng as well, but i prefer xiaomi's build quality and charging rate on the mi is more stable.

10.4k is great for big capacity
the 5k one is a pocketable version. i use this more.

hi, sifu's'. i took out my power bank inside 18650 battery coz i think circuit board got prob. then i use multimeter to test, still not dead yet. i was thinking to use battery charger to charge it. is it safe? i think those r unprotected battery. i wil make sure charge in a moment then use multimeter to test to prevent over charge more than 4.2 volt. is it ok?

Some copycat. Though I rather that those powerbank are plastic rather than aluminum. Easy to scratch other things if put same pocket. Good heat dissipation though

I bought USB cable with the Volt and Ampere display from Aliexpress to test output from various USB port.

When no phone connected, it's will show the Volt. When phone is charging, the display change to the current Ampere from USB to the phone.

So far, most powerbank only can give 1.0 - 1.3Amp even use 2.1 Amp output slot. Tested using Yoobao, Xiaomi, Enerpad and Pineng. and also some cheap PB.

I thought the device itself (phone/tablet) have capped the current input?

as you see in the pic, same phone used, when use Momax/Oppo adapter, I can get 1.4/1.5A but not with PB.

my original phone adapter have 1.5A output.

And I agreed that direct from power plug gives a higher ampere charging. One thing I do not know... 2.1A output do not even gives near the mentioned output. Or is it the phone charging being restricted ?

From what I read from here: http://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/review-xiao...rdown-s14-crazy

Their testing can pull between 1.7-1.9 from the Xiaomi Powerbank. Hmmm. hmm.gif
