That's the problem today. Charging with low quality fake powerbank could be dangerous.

Is reputable brand like sanyo, panasonic, philips or samsung powerbank too expesive that people go for this fake powerbank? Those may have low mAh but it may charge the same mAh as bigger (claimed)20000 powerbank.

Xiaomi becomes expensive nowadays. Do you think still worth it? Price increased. Shipping also expensive.

I guess till now no better alternative to xiaomi in price nad performance, safety ratio?
My friend used pineng powerbank many time during last flood, and his phone battery got problem. He says original pineng. So really need to be careful with powerbank especially circuit protection.

Do xiaomi official site always have sale with discount for powerbank? I don't really need it now. Would love to buy when it have sale but seems unlikely?


Do you think it is easier to carry the 10400 or 5200? 5200 is much slimmer but much taller compared to 10400. Which are more pocketable you think?

Now if it also have small emergency led flashlight like some other powerbank it would be cool.

Since you bought all 3 what do you think of their size? Which pocketable? In picture 5000 is slim but a bit long?

Do you think 10400 as pocketable as 5000?

Now using otterbox cases. I have spare battery but such a hassle to remove the casing. So definitely going to get powerbank. Might as well get the 10400 thicker and wider but shorter a bit with more juice. Two times heavier though.
May be more useful can charge note 8 also. 16000 is great but too big.

My wife is using a brand I can't search in the net, proda powerbank. got it when buy the phone but dunno if it's ok. plan to buy two one for me one for my wife but RM98 still have to pay shipping. Need to find someone who want to share buy also.

Some copycat. Though I rather that those powerbank are plastic rather than aluminum. Easy to scratch other things if put same pocket. Good heat dissipation though
