Hi, I'm impressed with the depth that you go into analysing powerbanks. Would you do a follow up to your Xiaomi 10400mah power bank, and test the new Xiaomi 20000mah power bank, please?

Yeah, that was the price back in 2013 and 2014.

The new revisions of their powerbank have a slightly slimmer design but a lot more expensive. I own 2 units from 2013 and they are still working perfectly.

The Xiaomi 20k should be the one with Qualcomm QuickCharge. It is worth getting.

2 x DC 5.1V / 2A max 3.6A USB output, quick charging for emergency charging needs.
- Support DC 5V / 2A, 9V / 2A, 12V / 1.5A quick recharging, it only needs 7 hours to be full charged, very time-saving for you.

from what I read to recharge the powerbank itself only use QC. To charge phone use just normal 5V. Better get powerbank that have QC output like Aukey 16K.
