QUOTE(Lineage @ Jun 9 2014, 01:14 AM) Hi, what you will get if use another port?Nice info for the powerbank.. Recently I bought Pineng PN-903, I'm using the 2.1A output port to change my Galaxy S4 and Note 2..however, the output is not up to expectation..just wondering is that normal? Pls take a look at the photo.. [attachmentid=4005604] It's only 1200mA using the 2.1A port.. |

QUOTE(Lineage @ Jun 9 2014, 07:39 PM) Ok..I get what u mean.. I never use Pineng but I heard Pineng is one the best PB. Today I tested with my LG G Pro 2..even i off screen and turn on..its not up to 1400mA and its only 1000mA..while if I use LG original charger, I can get 1400-1500mA and charger rated 1.8A output.. Let's dont check it using app, with LG charger, I see 1 hour I can charge 50-60% of battery, but using this Pineng Powerbank I only can charge 36% for 1 hour.. I tried using XiaoMi Powerbank, it did well with my phone and output same with my original LG charger..guess this Pineng powerbank is not so efficient.. Maybe you get the bad apple. |

QUOTE(x-treme @ Jun 10 2014, 06:46 PM) Slow charging ? slow to charge the phone.Do you mean the time required to charge the powerbank ? 11200mAh is really big capacity. 1A charger required more than 12 hours while 2A charger required more than 6 hours charging time. Do you mean the time required to charge the phone? Because if you are using data cable, the charging rate will be slower. That is USB charging. If you are using charging cable to charge the phone (data pin shorted), it will provide AC charging, which is fast. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jul 12 2014, 07:13 PM) 1. Slowly prise off the white plastic fascia on both ends. A small, sharp knife will do best with the least amount of chipping to the aluminium and plastic itself. Just be careful of the retention clips, but they are not clipped. Some small force will release them. better use guitar picks.QUOTE(joytest @ Jul 12 2014, 08:53 PM) The cells read LGDBB41865. at least LGDBB41865 is from LG.Googling gives only LGABB41865. I don't know if the 3rd letter indicates the cell quality. As I know D stand for High Drain Maximum discharge current: 20A - 35A suitable for e-cig vaping, powerbank AB version only Continuous Discharge Current : 3A Max. Short Discharge Current : 6A torch light, e-book |

QUOTE(Cavino @ Jul 31 2014, 01:02 PM) It might not be a fake.....just another OEM brand using low grade OEM battery. Might be using recycle battery from old notebook battery pack.Zenfone 5 batt is only 2110 mah, to charge only 50% of 2110mah battery and run out of juice, there is really no difference between fake pb and low quality pb. I have 2 units cap ayam, i change to fresh battery then work fine. |

QUOTE(Moutzu @ Aug 22 2014, 07:48 PM) The mobile phone shop owner could not remember the name except that it starts with "S ". I was informed that even the Japanese made quality power banks cannot compare with this German made power bank. However because of the superior quality & build of this power bank, it costs < RM400.00. The shop owner's customer bought it in Germany. I am sorry I cannot furnish more detail of name of power bank. I am hoping one the forumers might come across this power bank. I am looking to buy it notwithstanding the price. Oh yes, the battery is of Lithium Polymer type. this one?http://www.sandberg.it/en-us/categories/mo...table-batteries |

I bought USB cable with the Volt and Ampere display from Aliexpress to test output from various USB port.
When no phone connected, it's will show the Volt. When phone is charging, the display change to the current Ampere from USB to the phone. So far, most powerbank only can give 1.0 - 1.3Amp even use 2.1 Amp output slot. Tested using Yoobao, Xiaomi, Enerpad and Pineng. and also some cheap PB. QUOTE(radi0head @ May 16 2015, 12:35 PM) And I agreed that direct from power plug gives a higher ampere charging. One thing I do not know... 2.1A output do not even gives near the mentioned output. Or is it the phone charging being restricted ? 2.1A output do not even gives near the mentioned output - this what is experience now.. I have test using a devices that can have input up to 2A... yet not use 2A at all. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Aug 8 2016, 05:01 PM) 2 x DC 5.1V / 2A max 3.6A USB output, quick charging for emergency charging needs.- Support DC 5V / 2A, 9V / 2A, 12V / 1.5A quick recharging, it only needs 7 hours to be full charged, very time-saving for you. from what I read to recharge the powerbank itself only use QC. To charge phone use just normal 5V. Better get powerbank that have QC output like Aukey 16K. |
